What do you think is the best bang for buck leather cleaner and conditioner? (looking for one product that does both)

spray, or wipe on ?

Sonax leather foam,

or

1z leather care,

or Griots Leather care spray.

I love optimum, but will not use the Protectant plus unless theres a new formulation. It makes leather seats slippery and thats a no no on my highly bulstered seats. I would have got the bench seat option if it was still available if I wanted to go all dukes of hazzard. lol :)

I use the LTT product line for leather and love it. but its FAR from cost effective.

Pinnacle cleaner/conditioner is a super high quality product and a little goes a long way. I guess it just matters what you consider a bang for buck. I usually equate quality into that ratio, so I would go with that one.

I have yet to find a cleaner/conditioner all in one that will really "clean" a dirty leather seat.. I usually have to use a diluted apc to clean then condition. Sure would be nice to find a good combo though!

a bang for buck.

I've always used premium sabot 12 gauge slugs in my Remington 870 rifled barrel slug gun.
They've always produced nice tight groups out to 100 yards and have always taken down deer extremely well. :D

-Never seen any 2"N"1-ers...wouldn't use them if I did, either. Because...

BTW: Buck leather...Are you asking about: Buckskin or NuBuck?

Doesn't matter...Both types take special care...
1. Two seperate and quite different: "NuBuck Leather" products for cleaning and protecting (usually to water-proof/stain-guard).
2. You'll need a Nubuck brush...('nap-adjuster')
3. A NuBuck cleaning-cloth.

More cost effective to buy a NuBuck Kit.

-Leathermasters
-LTT
-Top-end furniture stores

No such thing, IMO. Leather cleaner/conditioners have cleaning ability on the lighter side.

Has anyone tried Murphy oil soap to clean leather followed by preserving with lexol neatsfoot oil? i use to use this on leather harnesses in horse racing and did an outstanding job.

Leatherique Pristine Clean - since most automotive leather surfaces are coated...

Best bank for your buck $$$

Duragloss Leather Conditioner (LC) #221 - 8-oz. $8.99 at AG.
Duragloss Leather Shampoo (LS) #441 - 8-oz. $6.99 at AG.

As their product literature say's 'Enhances Leather's Natural Fragrance'.

I have used other cleaner/shampoo's that leaves the leather smell or citrus smell
behind and it is overpowering that you need to roll the windows down to air the
inside of the vehicle out. You can pay more for a conditioner and shampoo, but why?

This would make a great BOGO item for next week. Hint !! Nick or Meghan !!!!!

Pinnacle cleaner and conditioner would have to be on the list if you must have a single product. Like others have mentioned, the combination products are not going to clean real dirty seats. OPC is one of the best options for pure cleaning ability. I have used optimum protectant on new leather and if you use it regularly, it seems to do pretty good. If you are looking for economy and can live with two steps, the Duragloss products mentioned are very good.

The leather in most cars is very different than belting or saddle leather. Most car leather is coated with a vinyl clearcoat. I would go with OPP.

You can clean leather with a APC(diluted for interior)

I use and love Eco touch's leather care!!

Earlier I used Zymol's Leather cleaner and conditioner but it used to leave leather all sticky!
Eco touch, after being left to be absorbed by the leather leaves quite a slick, non sticky finish by itself! But still, I use UIGP afterwards!

How does the DG products compare to the Ultima line? I like UISG very much but it is a bit expensive. UIGP+ is awesome.
