Ok Guys I'm always looking for bargins and found a nice one today! Megs clay Kit on CLEARANCE at Target for 11 bucks! Wondering whats up with that?
 
Advance auto had Ice clay kit for $2.45 each......i grabbed 5 of them. This was around christmas

Did it come with two clay bars or just one?
 
I'm betting it's local. I was just at the auto section at Target this weekend and I didn't see any clearance items.:(
 
Im an ex target employee. Theey have a team called price accuracy that puts items on clearance everyday. So I would check your local again.

If I remember right (which isn't too often), Meg is redoing the clay kit with a bigger chunk of clay, hence bye bye (or is it buy buy) to the old package.

Didn't mean to, but stopped at a Target store this afternoon while on my way to lunch.
They have Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit marked down to $7.98 each, was $15.99. Only picked up two of them.

Yes, they do contain the two smaller 50grams clay bars.

Dad Target Marks their items down from 30 to 50 to 75 to 90 percent off. Corporate decides how fast they go. Ive seen things marked down one day to 30 and then the next day 75. But anyways good score all.
 
Thats good to know Cara because I have an appt tommarow and there is a target around the corner...gonna stop and look there...I bought all that was left at my store!
 
Checked two stores here in Orlando. They both still had them at regular price.:(
 
I went to two targets yesterday and I didn't see any automotive items on clearance. I saw a 3 pack of dress socks on clearance for $1.53.

I was at big lots and saw a few new car detail items. I haven't tried anything from black magic. I couldn't find to many reviews either. They had a spray wax that foamed, a tire dressing and interior protectant. Sorry for the camera phone photos, I was thinking of picking something up, but I don't want to waste money.
 
checked my local target and they were full price (could of used some mild clay) so it's definitely ymmv per store. i did however look in the swimming section and found the speedo ear plug set that were on sale for $1.48 and were normally $5.99, so it wasn't a wasted trip after all...
 
So, I'm up here in Norcross, GA visiting my brother and he tells me he picked up two Meguiar's Clay Kits (New ones with the two 80 g. bars) at $3.98 each for me. He then tells me that there were plenty more and he only grabbed two because he didn't even know what they're for! :eek::eek::eek:

Today, we proceeded to hit every Target within a fifteen mile radius of his house (We went to four), but we only find one more clay kit (old kit with two 50 g. bars) for $4.38.
I did wind up picking up eight 22 oz. bottles of Stoner Invisible Glass with Rain Repellent and three half gallon containers of Simple Green, all for under $1.50 each. I also wind up buying some Turtle Wax Ice Quick Detailers and Interior Cleaners for under $2.50 each. Don't know how good the Turtle Wax stuff are, but I'm willing to give them a try at that price!Im the MAN
