Just found out from Forrest at Mothers that Barry has been hospitalized and is in intensive care, here's the link to the story...

Barry's been an inspiration to me and I'm sure many on this forum and millions of people around the world, he was also the man that gave me a chance as a writer back in 2002, so I'm forever grateful to him.

Lets everyone keep him and his family in your prayers...

Just got a phone call from one of his closest friends and he says Barry's showing signs of improvement...

I can't think of anyone that's done more to grow the car hobby and that benefits all of us...

watching him on tv, he always seemed healthy and strong and 67 is still young these days so hopefully he will get better soon and be just fine.
 
In mine as well. He is an icon for the car care industry. I hope he makes a complete and speedy recovery.
 
Meguiars is what got me hooked on this detailing hobby. Here's hoping he comes out good as new.

Any idea of what happened? All I've read is that he was hospitalized in serious condition but I haven't read anything about what he was hospitalized for.
 
I keep him in my prayers. His passion for all things automotive is infectious.

Hello Everyone,

We want to take a moment to bring you up to speed on Barry.

As many of you may have heard or read, Barry was admitted to the hospital over this past weekend. It appears he picked up a viral infection during his international travels for Car Crazy.

Barry is currently in stable condition and improving. He hopes to return to the LA area in the next few days.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. We will make sure they are passed along to Barry.

Barry is truly a class act; glad to know he is making a recovery!
 
I will pray for Barry, he is going to be alright I'm sure
