Manny may or may not help your team. Depends on his mood on game day. Damon was definitely a good pick up. I always liked him expect that he can't throw.

Yeah, my biggest concern is Manny's mood. We all know how he is when he doesn't feel like playing..:help:
 
I thought I was huge Pujols fan but I just heard he's looking for 10 years/300 MILLION for his next contract. Sounds a wee but greedy.

I agree. I don't care how talented the man is, or how much power he has, NOBODY should be getting paid $300 million. It's completely unreasonable.
 
I don't think it'll be long before a salary cap is put in place. I mean, somebody has got to stop the Yanks from buying another WS, right?? Lol

That would be like someone putting a cap on how much money you can spend here at AG... If you have the $$$ you might as well spend it... Oh, and GO YANKEES!!! :cool::awesome::righton:
 
I knew I'd ruffle some birds feathers! I look at it more like this, you can pay a ton of cash to have someone detail your car(Yanks), or you can carefully piece together all the ingredients for the perfect detail, and put the work into it for yourself(Giants!)!!

Funny you mention the Giants... That is my football team...

And I bet that if your team was the one with all the money you would have no problem with them paying one player more than other teams pay on their entire payroll... :xyxthumbs:
