It rained on my way home today :( so I used the opportunity to break out the 20D with the Macro lens :)

Now lets get super close! These are on the border of a fluorescent light reflection. The paint and pearl are quite a different color due to reflection of the garage walls and the overhead lights! The beads show the true paint color. :)

These are the super small and pin prick beads!

I should do this again with a tripod. These were handheld and manual focus! so a little bit motion blur and not as much DOF as I would like. It's hard getting tiny water beads in focus!

Super-cool photos! :xyxthumbs:

Thanks for sharing...

That looks like some kind of super bug under a telescope - lets call it the 'Detail Epidemic". Nice pics man :dblthumb2:

I actually found quite a few people using it during searches for blacklight + V7. Either Pete's 53 or 5050.

Black Light is a sealant, right? And the 53 or 5050 is carnuaba? And I know the V7 is a spray sealant. I use the V7 when I'm drying my car so the paint is dried safely, but also adds the V7 to the paint.

Wow that is beautiful, only an AutoGeek could appreciate the beauty of beading

Which one? PM me your email and I'll send a hi-res to you. I don't have anywhere to host a hi-res (fotki doesn't store originals anymore)
