this beautiful (but pretty dirty) 2009 M3 made a quick pit stop for correction and Opti Coat.

After a thorough wash the paint looked a lot better

This is what the paint looked like though

With the Rupes and a compound it started to improve

I finished the paint around 3 am so I only took a couple of pictures before retiring for the night. There were still little details to be done in the morning before I went to pick up the customer from the rental agency.

Compound
Polish
Strong IPA
Thick layer of Opti Coat

I got up at 8 this morning to finish up all the small details

Tires were dressed, exhaust polished, license plate cleaned etc...

Final result

Awesome job! My E92 is the same color. What compound/polish/pad combo did you have the most success with? Car looks great man.

Thank you all very much!!

Josh - HD CUT with the pink LC cutting pad worked fantastic. In places I also use the HD black wool pad. Meg's 100/101 will eat that paint up. I just needed something that didn't dust, due to lack of time - I didn't want to rewash the car.

Awesome work!! HD cut is amazing! It came out great!!

Looks great! How many man hours did you have in it?
