So ive been poking around on here and from what I've heard, read rather
Is that the pc vibrates and is painfully annoying
And that the GG is the destroyer of pads
Are either of these true?
Speed 6 on either the PCXP or GG6 will build up heat and kill the BP/Velcro backing with to much pressure. If you're simply just talking about Meguiar's MF DA pads than yes it seems like Meguiar's developed these pads just for their G110v2 which has different OPMs at speed settings then the PC/GG. But if you use caution and other peoples advice (not over speed 5 when using D300/MF Cutting) you should be fine.
I found my old PC to vibrate like my hands like crazy (but than again I wasn't using proper technique, nor was actually detailing). After visiting that machine again it does vibrate a lot more than the GG6 IMO. Don't know how much more refined the PCXP is tho, compared to the older PC7424. Also before I picked up my GG6 the PC seemed to have people breaking the spindle in about a years worth of time. So that was one of the reasons I picked up the GG6 until the threads about.........
The GG6 being dropped then breakingBut the best part is that Griot's will guarantee a "lifetime warranty" so things like that should be covered.
Haha what technique cuts down on vibration?
I'm not talking about Vibration, I think I used speed 6 with a 6.5" orange pad for everything... And like 4 or something with white and 2 with black.
Did not know what the hell I was doing.
