beginners first REAL was and wax

Yes! It made the wax "lay down" so much better, particularly if you are just adding wax without a polish. It aslo helps get the base off from the polish when you are including that in the plan. I even use it now after the alcohol/water wipe down. Tried it both ways and it does help.

I'll have to look in to that. What kind you use?

Looks good. Very nice depth on that blue paint! :props:

I think the car turned out great and your work really shows! As far as the wax you used; I have some that costs $10 and some that costs $200 and a few in between. My experience is that the prep has a lot more effect on the final product than the cost of the wax. The more expensive stuff does look better but may not be worth the cost in the long run, especially if you are saving for other cool stuff. Turtle wax will look better on a well prepared car than Fuzion on a poorly prepared one.

You can polish by hand. I would recommend an All-In-One (AIO) Two great ones are Duragloss 105 or 501. Apply DG 601 first and you will get amazing durability! These have sealants in them too.
Dont put too much $$ into wax. It is all in the prep! Welcome to the addiction!

Thanks for sharing cheffery!
