A customer brought me a black S2000 that needed some serious TLC. Aside from the swirls, it had a ton of etchings from bird droppings, water spots, markings from tree sap, and other fun imperfections that I had to remove/reduce.

I started out by giving it a Citrus Wash bath. After removing a TON of gunk from the wheels and inner barrels, I cleaned the fender liners, exhaust, emblems, and finally the paint. The soft top was cleaned with Meguiar's D103 and a brush. I followed up with IronX and a Nanoskin decontamination.

I brought the car inside and dried it off with compressed air and a Cobra Guzzler towel. After drying I taped up various trim pieces and other delicate areas.

After some test spots with different pads and polishes, I decided on using cyan and orange Lake Country foam pads with Menzerna PF2500 for the initial correction. The paint was very soft and easy to correct for the most part, but some trouble spots I ended up wet sanding and correcting with FG 400. Headlights were wet sanded and polished with FG 400.

I performed the final polishing with a black Lake Country pad and Menzerna SF 4500. This really brought out a nice glossy look to the paint.
A few little rids and deep etchings remained in the paint, but overall the car looked great.
I finished the car by protecting the soft top with 303 Fabric Guard and applied Detailer's Pro paint sealant by machine. Wheels and glass were coated with Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Coating and tires were dressed with Ultima Tire & Trim Guard. Headlights were protected with Optimum Opti-Lens headlight coating.

Well that's all I got. Thanks for looking!
