Best 2/3 Step Polishing Products

Okay so I am looking into some polishes and compounds and prefer something that is 2 step, I want something that will be completely ready for a sealant after the 2nd step. I looked at the Griots Boss product line, I like this but it looks like a lot of different options and I like simply. I am also looking to know what pads you recommend for any of these steps. I have a Griots 6inch DA w/ 25 foot cord. I want good quality pads and willing to invest in them. I don't know if a 3rd party brand is better or anything just looking for recommendations.

Meguires ultimate compound and polish. And you can follow with ultimate liquid/paste wax if you like (it's actually a sealer, not a wax). And Lake Country Flat pads-- orange, white, and black.

Those were often recommended products to me when I first asked a similar question.

Meguiars m105/m205?
 
Yup, also good choices (although I've not used them myself- lots of fans on the forum). I'm not sure if that's what you were asking-- They are not the same thing as UP/UC. Also note, UC is a little less abrasive than 105. And UP isn't as "versatile" as 205. That's how they were explained to me.

105/205 are in the mirror glaze line of products (body shop safe) and are considered the "professional line". UP/UC might be described as "over the counter", although very capable products in their own right.
 
Menzerna FG400 and SF3500 for German paint.

Lake Country flat pads or Hydro tech pads. The flat pads are open cell technology while the Hydro tech pads are closed cell. I prefer the closed cell technology as they keep the product on the face of the pad longer rather than just being absorbed into the pads. IME, they also finish nicer. The down side is they are harder to clean up as you are fighter to remove the residue from inside a closed cell pad. Although they are easily cleaned with a pad cleaner.

Just did 2 vehicles using Wolfgang 'Twins'.

Total Swirl Remover w/ orange flat pad, Finishing Glaze with white flat pad.

Topped with Uber Ceramic.

Came out nice.
 
Rupes Zephir and Keramik combo (with their system) is ny 1st choice, Menzaerna FG400 and SF4000 is my second.

For one step Rupes UHS is fast and beautiful.

Zephir/Keramik is fast becoming my most used combo as the Rupes is seeing more and more use.

With the PC I also love Meguiar's Ultimate line, M100/M205, and Menzerna FG400/SF4000.
 
HD Cut+ and HD Polish +
Griots B.O.S.S Correcting Cream and either Griots B.O.S.S. Perfecting Cream or thier Finishing Sealant.
 
HD Adapt. Stupid easy to use and cut/finishes on anything depending on pad selection.
 
i have use FG400/SF4000 a lot in the past, it's a great combo.
HDcut/HDpolish is a good combo, IMO HDpolish seems to finish out faster than SF4000.

for pads i recommend a MF cutting pad (Meguiar's, Griot's...)
for polishing the LC ThinPro Pads are nice, i'd get Orange, White and Black. the White pad is my go-to for polishing, Orange works great as a one step pads.
 
The pair I'm using right now with great success is the Blackfire SRC duo. They work really well on my hard, black VW paint when paired with Lake Country Flat pads.

Based on some advice from the Lake Country rep I met at a Competition Ready episode shoot, I'm playing around with these products on different pad combinations and finding the products to be much more flexible than I have originally realized.
