Best Bleeding Car Contest - Iron X

Thanks Charlie, you just killed my submission... :(

But those were some killer shots! :xyxthumbs:

My vote goes to Shiny Lil Detlr (Charlie) :)

 Sorry, Richard! But thanks

Purely luck of the draw that I happened to get a car with that much crap on it; I honestly don't think it has ever been properly detailed since it was new -- I burned through a full bar of Clay Magic Blue on it after those pics were taken along with about a quarter bar of the Meguiar's Aggressive (red) clay.

Four hours later and it looks white again! :buffing:

Here's my pics. Mom and dad's 2000 white Honda Odyssey, ~85000 miles, garage queen, been to Minnesota and back several times to see family and to New York and back once for a cousin's wedding.

Odyssey after wash with CG Citrus Wash and DP Cleanse-All, Iron X, Pinnacle clay and DJ Born Slippy, re-wash, and one coat of UPGP. Diamondite Poli-Shield on glass, DP tire gel (old formula on tires), Sonus Trim and Motor Kote in wheel wells. Sorry about the poor quality - I took this pic at around 8:30 or so. I'm going to put on another coat or two of UPGP over the next couple days, so I will try to get a better picture in the sun after that.

So as you can see, it wasn't horribly bad, but bad enough where it needed it. I used about half of my 16 ounce bottle of Iron X.

i gotta get some of this stuff. my silver car will probably bleed like a stuck pig.

Totally missed a great Iron X photo op last week on a white Toyota Yaris
Never the less, here goes - '01 Hyundai Elantra

Loving the photos. Seeing photos of the bleeding Iron X are pretty cool.

Infact, on an Australian Audi forum, the Australian dealer for Iron X showed some pics where he used it on a filthy wheel covered in brake dust and the wheel became solid purple!

Was pretty amazing really as he pressure washed it off and the wheel was almost perfectly clean! Gotta get me some Iron X

Thanks Jason! :props:

Wow Shane, this is my favorite pic because of the puddle below:

Now, I just need to get my hands on a light colored car, iron x, and some iron filings and I am in it to win it ;)

It's all good, Ted... the first thought I had when I saw that pic from Shane was "Now we know what they use on CSI to make fake crime scenes!" :xyxthumbs:

It is like the car is bleeding out through two gunshot wounds!

You know, I think maybe the prize for this contest is a bit wrong.... maybe they ought to be giving out the necessary supplies for a transfuzion instead?
