Best Brand for each product family

I want to buy products in bulk, and I would like to know what brand you think is the best for each product family out of this list.


Upholstery Cleaner
Leather Cleaner
Leather conditioner
Interior Dressing
Vinyl and Rubber Protectant
Glass Cleaner
Wheel Cleaner (or degreaser)
Chrome polish
Aluminum Polish
Auto Shampoo
Clay Bars
Clay Lubricant
Compound

Leather Cleaner - Leatherique Products
Leather conditioner - Leatherique Products
Interior Dressing - 303, Einszett 1Z
Vinyl and Rubber Protectant - 303
Glass Cleaner - Invisible Glass
Wheel Cleaner (or degreaser) - Sonax Full Effect, P21S Gel, CG Diablo Gel, Meg's D108 (degreaser)
Chrome polish - CG Metal Polish + Protection

Auto Shampoo - CG Citrus Wash (or various others from CG)
Clay Bars - too many to choose from, then there are synthetic substitutes as well
Clay Lubricant - too many to choose from... Diluted ONR is common
Compound - Way too many to choose from... Menz FG400, Meg's D300, Meg's M101, Meg's M105 are all common
Polish - Way, way, way too many to choose from... Meg's M205, Menz PF2500, etc etc etc etc etc....
Sealent - A lot of great choices... Menz Power Lock, CG Black Light, Black Fire Wet Diamond... or 22ple, opti-coat, etc for permanent coatings
Wax - I won't even go there... everyone loves a different wax.
Glaze - CG EZ Creme Glaze
APC - Meg's D103
Exterior Dressing - 303
Detailing Spray - CG Hybrid V7

^Updated with some suggestions.... please note, there are TONS of amazing products and there is NO WAY to simply list the best brand for each category of products.... These are simply suggestions based on my personal experiences. Many others will have different opinions.
 
"Best" is a subjective word and frankly I'm not sure you will get the answer you are looking for, but rather a host of opinions of which you have to factor out.

Some will argue that Menzerna make the best polishes, others will argue that CGuys makes the best soaps, still others may suggest that Megs covers everything, including any hardware...so that is where I will leave it.

Meguiars for every category you can name. If they were the only game in town, I'm would be all in, even though I have other favorites as well.
 
Being completely honest, I'm always impressed with the PBMG products. They are either class leading, or right up there. I have shelves full of them. I've only had one real disappointment, and that was BF Tire Gel. It was terrible. It was a sample size. Maybe it wasn't shaken or something before it was poured? I don't know. But other than that, I'm very pleased.

My go to products are listed in bold. Tons of other choices though.
 
lots of good suggestions. tuff shine tire products are good. just picked up a cheap parts shaker/cleaner for shaking my liquid products from Harbor Freight. collinite anyone in winter?

Well for an all purpose cleaner there can't be anything better that OPC (Optimum Power Clean) aka Alien Kleen. I have a white, cloth couch and have gotten blood out of it even, diluted 3:1. This product works great as a tire/wheel cleaner, vinyl cleaner and just about anything else you need to clean. If there were a Hall of Fame for detailing products it would be a first ballot inducte!

I have the sense that he is looking for a cost benefit analysis, not a best product cost no object. I think he wants products that work great, but are the least expensive.
 
How about best decontamination product ie ironx ?

Looks like the lists you got are right on track with what I use...save for a few things here and there.

Upholstery Cleaner
Leather Cleaner- Leatherique is used by the Smithsonian for their leather,and I've used it with great success on 145 year old leather.
Leather conditioner- Leatherique.
Interior Dressing- Formula 303 Aerospace
Vinyl and Rubber Protectant 303 washes off pretty quickly, so cost benefit right now, I would use Opti Bond
Glass Cleaner
Wheel Cleaner (or degreaser) -regular use Griots Garage. Neglected wheels Sonax full Effect
Chrome polish
Aluminum Polish I've always used Simichrome with excellent results
Auto Shampoo I like Griots Garage
Clay Bars I like Griot's Garage
Clay Lubricant
Compound
Polish
Sealant- I like WGDGPS for looks, Opti Seal for ease of use and speed, and Griots Garage for durability.

Wax best bang for the buck Collinite 476, Poorboy's Nattys red for looks, Collinite 915, or Mother's California Gold paste wax is a nice product for the money.

I haven't tried enough of a lot of the other products to say whether the ones I like are the best.
