Not sure what all you're looking for in a kit? I'll try and keep it simple. You'll see hundreds of combo options depending on the person. I own two black cars and here's mine.
Short list for black depending on condition....
Pads:
Yellow - qty 2-3 IF you need them. Not likely needed everywhere
Orange - qty 6 as you will need / should switch them out or wash them during the process.
White - 4 as you'll switch these out too.
Product:
You could use HDSpeed and then follow it up with a better sealant.
I did a 3 step process on our 9yr old/100k mile minivan with great success. I did use HDSpeed a month later to touch up and hit it again and it was great.
Meguiar's Ulitimate Compound
Meguiar's Ultimate Polish
Menzerma Powerlock Sealant
You could also look at Meg's Ulitimate Wax as many love it.
I am now swearing by two coats of Chem Guys Blacklight followed by a sealant. Stunning results in my experience. I also love Collinite as a final product too.
So many options. Here are a couple of our van before/after:
BEFORE: I'd say this was the average panel too. Some were bad.
AFTER: Meg's Ultimate Compound and Polish. No final wax or coating on at this point
AFTER: Sealed the above drove it for a month but then hit it again with HDSpeed to help eliminate some remaining trouble spots. Sealed it up with Collinite this time.
I'm very very pleased as it's better than new now. Sorry to have been a pic monger. I think a picture tells a thousand words. I'm proud of my old girl now
