Best Car wax for white cars ?

Jumping right in!

I also own a white pearl car, and I do agree with mike that the color shines even more with little to no defects. I also found jeweling the paint with menzerna po85rd pops the color even more. As for maintenance I also am a junkie for cleaning items. I usually clay the car using meguiar's claybar as often as once a week or two. Place I live got heavy, dirty, polluted environment, so I add extra paint cleaning routine with pinnacle cleansing lotion once a month. IMO sealants doesn't work out pretty well on my car. They tends to darken and mute the cyrallic beads after a few days.

Although I sometimes like to put on prima's hydroseal, wolfgang dgps 3.0, I prefer spray sealants/qds. Tried many products, and found out opt instant detailer, pinnacle crystal mist, wolfgang deep gloss spritz sealant, carpro's reload, meguiar's last touch, blackfire wet diamond polymer spray are the most 'suitable' products for me. I tried to avoid products with too much polymer/silicone.

For carnauba wax I just love the clean n glossy look of chemical guys's celeste dettaglio. Swissvax's glacier also works wonder, only harder to apply (sv waxes tend to chalk up on the pad).

I also recommend blackfire rinseless wash to maintain the in-between washes. This product is oh-so-awesome and can be dilluted for qd/clay lubricant as well.

My sister brought her white camry in to put a sealant. I put menzerna power lock and it made her car look wet and glossy. Its been a week and still looks the same. Only used one coat. She also mentioned that almost no dust builds up as much as it used to. Car still feels incredible slick to the touch.

I have had great results with, believe it or not, black light on a white car.

Super Glossy... as Mike mentioned, removing defects and increasing the slickness of the paint is what really amps up the gloss.

I have a car with a very similar color. So far my favorite looking LSP on this car has been Opti-Seal. I'm sure most other spray type sealants will provide very similar results.

IMO carnaubas seems to change the color a little, yellowing it. I haven't tried a lot of them, just spray Souveran and OCW. The Opti-Seal lets the metallic shine through the best and keeps the bright white color.

You might want to try RELOAD by CarPro - my new favorite spray sealant I have both white and silver cars and nothing else looks that glossy and I've tried a bunch of LSPs.

Prep work

Agreed on white especially as you've gotta make it whiter than white. I'd try DG #501 after claying to bring out all the dirt out of the paint and leaves behind a nice, clean finish! Afterwards you could apply another coat since its so easy to work with!

Dear Zach

You just put Chemical Guys's Black Light on my list.

That's about the most brilliant white I've ever seen.

Prep work is the most important thing, according to the experts, so I'll make sure to clay and use a paint cleanser. I have Ultima's Paint Prep Plus.
