Best car wax

:dblthumb2:

I did a little experiment on my MINI before trading it in. Here is my MINI when Turtle Wax Carnauba Cleaner Wax was topped with Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell.

You are right to a point, almost any consumer wax/sealant will look great when first applied. In fact some will look even better than many boutique brands, NXT for example has amazing POP when first applied. Wait for a rainstorm or two and the look fades super fast. Good waxes and sealants continue to look the same wash after wash, rain after rain.

The Simoniz electric sprayer and accessories I ordered for $9.95 and $9.95 shipping and handling. I just found the exact same kit at Ollies' for $5.99. I hate when that happens.

It didn't remove cleanly for me at all.

That happened to me the first time I used it. I used too much wax and it was very humid. The next time with less wax and lower humidity it was fine. Made my truck dripping wet!

I have all most all the high-end waxes, and I'm sold on Pinnacles
Souverän™ Carnauba Paste Wax

it is better to use the cold wax than the hot one. the cold wax lasts longer.

After testing a few hundred waxes both syn and carnuba I would honestly say that Mothers Red, Turtle wax and Megs NXT are perhaps my favorites. All three are affordable and it performs just as good as the $50+ designer waxes.

For great shine and protection I prefer Meg's NXT 2.0.
Very easy to apply and you can rest assure you'll get good protection and at a decent cost.
It's all I use.

Has anyone ever taken any pictures of a hood or panel with a tape line down the center comparing two different waxes. I would really love to see how much of a difference would show on a photo.
If it gets me outside working on a car then its my favorite.

If anybody can honestly walk up to any car and say "that paint has product x wax on it"...then you are wasting your time here.

Poor Boys Natty's Blue

Not only does it add shine and protection, but it makes your car smell good as well. Who doesn't like there car smelling like bubble gum? Haha

It's my favorite because that's what I have lol

That and Collinite 476s

Meguiars #26. It never lets me down.

This is a joke? No? Buy the cheapest wax that turns you. Wax is just a cover.
Buy the best polish you can afford, because that is what it all about.

Have fun.:xyxthumbs:

I agree if you can afford the paste version get that if not get the liquid version
