Best Carnauba Under $50?

I started using this, looks great! Just looking for a wetter looking lsp to go over the #845.:xyxthumbs:

I'm new to the forum and was set on the Pinnacle Product from what I've read about it. Your statement has caught my attention because my truck is parked outside everyday from over 100 degree heat in the summer to over 3' of snow in the winter. I'm looking for a product that can stand up to these conditions. Since I'm new here and still learning about all the different products, in your opinion would you choose the Collinite 845 Liquid Insulator Wax over the SSII? I plan on applying the wax and removing it with the Flex 3401. Any addition information is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Not sure how it would look over 845, but Pinnacle Liquid Souveran over Menz Powerlock is just sick - very deep and wet looking. Don't lean against your car, you'll slide off. Beads like glass marbles too. I get about 3 weeks of rainstorms out of it in PA, the rainforest of the east.

I 2nd that. Pinnacle LS is about $40 and even though its liquid I am not sure there is something else that will look better for that price....at least on a black car.

imho, i would go with 845 since your truck is a daily driver that stays outside. The durability and even shine will be there!

nothing wrong with topping 845 with SSII though!

I was under the impression that the Collinite 845 Liquid Insulator Wax was the final stage. Basically I could do a wash, clay, swirl remover, Collinite 845 Liquid Insulator Wax, and then the SSII? I've read some threads where certain products didn't work well together but it seems the one's that I read that didn't return good results were the one's where the guys applied one wax over another without first removing/cleaning the old wax before applying the new wax.

on my DD i originally had a layer of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, but i didnt find the shine to what i wanted, so i topped it with 845 and the carnauba warmth and wetness was instantly there. I could have stopped there, but i finished it off with some Fuzion and i am more than happy .
try a test spot, but last winter i had two layers of 845 only and it was fine. beaded until april!

XMT 180 ..nice shine and great durability. Had it on my wife's car and withstood daily thunderstorms for 3 weeks (and we get a lot of acid rain around here), and it's still beading great.

Another vote here for Victoria Concours Red. I'm presently using it on my black S2K and I love the look.

I also cast a vote for P21S 100%.
