Best Carnauba wax for shine/gloss red car !

You don’t say where you’re at, but if you’re in any type of sunny climate, I would forgo carNuba and put it on the sealant of some sort. It’ll last much longer, it has exactly the same or better gloss, and it’s a bit easier to apply. CarNuba down here in Florida last weeks during our summers, I don’t know anybody that uses it anymore. Wolfgang deep gloss sealant is a favorite here or a new player: 303 graphene spray sealant. My single 303 application is going on 4 months and it still looks brand new. Beads like crazy

I just waxed my dad's brand new Jeep with Collinite 476. It ought to last a few months even here in FL. Looks great on maroon.

I'd suggest something a little different. Since you already have a Meguiar's sealant on the car, I always prefer to keep it within the same family. Meguiar's #26 Yellow Wax would be my choice. This stuff makes a red vehicle absolutely glow. I used to use this on my red Focus ST and yellow Mustang all the time. Easily one of my favorite carnauba waxes out there.

Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech Paste Wax is carnauba paste car wax with polymer additives for maximum longevity. Meguiars #26 High Tech Paste Car Wax is great

Pinnacle would be my choice as well but as already stated, very perishable

I'm enjoying Collinite 915 topped with DG Aquawax. The exact wet deep look I was after.

Sorry for indoor shots (all I have at the moment).

One alternative is Wolfgang Fuzion hybrid wax. I'm in FL and I use it. Looks almost like Souveran but is more practical.

I agree with this, Fuzion will look amazing and net you more durability.

Whatever you choose, and I would throw Meguiar's 26 into the mix, I don't think you will find any additional gloss or brilliance over the Meg's Ultimate you already have. What you will find is a deep warm glow.

Both looks have their own appeal but if it's absolute gloss that you're looking for I don't think you're going to find it... Meg's Ultimate is already pretty good in that respect.

Polish and Coat it instead. :xyxthumbs:

Oh boy........ I knew a coating guy would be along eventually......:laughing:

To the OP: Like others have mentioned, if you want durability then go with a Collinite product.

845 (liquid) is extremely easy to use, and under most conditions will easily last 6 months. You can apply it to the entire vehicle, and wait as long as you want to remove it.

476s (paste) is easy to use, but you must be mindful of only applying it to a small section at a time, let it sit no more than 1-2 minutes, then immediately remove it. If you let 476 sit too long, you will be in a world of hurt.

However, you can expect it to last anywhere from 9-12 months.

At least the “coating guy” put up some pics that are absolutely stunning…LOL

Optimum Car Wax gets my vote. Gives a nice wet look, patented UV protection, plus its a spray product so its very easy to use.

Ohh man, that E46!

As an inline 6 tragic, I would love to experience that engine one day.

This one is supercharged with a mild 8lbs of boost to give it a HUGE sensation of torque and power in addition to it's buttery smooth delivery :)

I'm surprised no one mentioned Poorboy's Natty's line of carnauba's. They used to get quite a bit of discussion years ago.

If I had a garage queen it would get waxed and I'd probably either go with DoDo Juice or the Poorboys for no other reason than they are reasonably priced and seemed to have a good reputation for being good products. I've not tried either one, but would love to if I had the opportunity on the right car.

Hmm. I wonder why we don't even see Poorboy's products mentioned any more.

I have both PB’s Natty Red and Dojo Purple Haze. Both are excellent waxes both looks and use wise. I wish PB’s would use a little better quality container, but with the name and mascot, that would be hypocritical:)

That Mazda Soul Red is enchanting. I personally like Collinte 845 and it does last longer than an average carnauba wax. I usually get 3 or 4 months out of it.
