I'm looking for a good shampoo with these qualities:

1) Bulk. Looking to get the most bang for my buck
2) Will work well with the pc carpet brush
3) Removes stains (will be using folex for anything heavy)
4) Leaves behind a nice scent

This will not be going in an extractor, like I mentioned above it will just be used with the PC brush attachment. Thanks in advance.

I use apc or folex 1:4 and scrub with a brush then vacuum and hit tough spots with folex undiluted blot vacuum and blot whole carpet one last time

I love my folex but I was hoping for something I can dilute, spray on the mats and go over them with my PC brush. Maybe something that foams a little? I'm having trouble even finding something like this on AG.

Yep, this is what I do also. Folex works great for spots and surface cleaning but if I need a deeper clean I'll use my favorite APC. The Meg's APC cleans good but has a soap smell, Simple green is also nice but get tired of the same old smell. My favorite is Adam's APC but it's costly but it smells great.

I have thought of trying some others to find one that smells as nice as the Adam's to save money, any recommendations anyone?

any1 got a link to the folex stuff?
i tried doing a search on AG but no luck....

Folex = Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart.

By the way, the Wolfgang carpet cleaner is outstanding. Costly but I can mist it over carpet that already looks clean and it will brighten it up nicely.

To the OP: Meg's APC+

APC works nicely but has a chemical smell that I have to let dissipate when I use.

Well, if you want foamy, megs APC is your best bet out of the things I've used. Though it does smell interesting, the smell does not linger. Megs APC+ has an Orange smell and does not foam at all and cleans about the same.

I was really hoping for something that foamed up a little bit and smelled nice but for now I guess I'll be sticking with Folex and giving APC+ a chance.

look at 303 products, there fabric and vinyl cleaner can be diluted

My stand-by is to contact a local janitorial supply and see what they have. Many many carpet products out there that we may not be aware of.

I googled carpet cleaning solutions and found some interesting stuff but I'm just going to go with what I know on this one.

+1 on Megs APC for me, foams but not too much (if you don't over-apply). I use at 4:1 for stubborn soiled areas and 10:1 for light cleaning. I have to agree with the smell but I find it doesn't linger too long. Still wanting to try APC+.

Yeah sorry let's clear that up, you want a cleaner that foams since your doing by hand if I remember? Meg's APC does foam somewhat but the APC+ does not foam. Hope that helps.

I can help you guys with professional carpet cleaning products that are way cheaper than what you use now and more effective. I have been cleaning carpets professionally for 10 years.

That's very nice of you can any of them be used both by hand and extractor? How much $ and how many oz? Of
Course we pay shipping unless you do that as a tax write off. Haha... Any help is greatly appreciated.
