Best Cell Phone Case?

+1 for the Lifeproof case. I have had both the Otterbox defender series for my blackberry and iPhone and liked both of them but they are bulky and the rubber membrane eventually stretches and wears out from normal use. The lifeproof case is no where near as bulky and is a solid case without that rubber membrane. I've dropped my phone repeatedly from 5+ feet while working and not a spec of damage to the phone or the lifeproof case yet.

Girls dont really buy good cases, most of them are cheap and have a design on the back. I would let her get it or buy a ballistic brand case. Great quality and makes the phone not get damaged. A screen protector is also nice, I would go with the invisable shields

I have an otter box and a " screenpatronus " screen protector. I I Like both :)

I have 2 boys with the iP4S and one has a defender by otter box and trhe other a lifeproof. Both add some heft but I no longer have to deal with cracked screens and housings.

The reason we got 2 different cases is so they would not mix them up.

I personally like the lifeproof becasue it is slimmer.

Getting ready to buy an iPhone 5 for my 16 year old daughter (as of Sunday).

Who makes the best case for protecting the cell phone?

Probably don't want anything too bulky since it is for a 16 year old female who will probably carry it in her pocket or in this small 'little larger than a wallet' type thing she carries.

Thanks.

There is a very slight gap but nothing noticeble. I hated the screen protector on the defedender because it lowered the screen sensitivity and kept dust trapped under it instead of keepeing it out like it was supposed to do, but i love my case i am very accident prone saved my phone multiple times.

+1 for lifeproof. Plus they warranty the phone if something happens to it.

I have the same in blue. Have had a number of cases and this is been the best so far. Bought one for my son also.

I really abuse mine to as everyday I take it out of the case to plug it into my Bose Soundock when in my office and also when I shoot imovies. Then at night, put it back in the case for the drive home.

I give it :dblthumb2:

:D

I have the White and Glacier. I bought the White and Otterbox sent me the Glacier. The white was turning blue. So when I called Otterbox they sent me the Glacier which was a new color that AT&T didn't have.

I see a lot of people recommending the Otterbox Defender and I don't think it is the best match. My brother has Otterbox Defender on his I Phone and it barely fits in his regular fit jeans. No way a girl wearing skinny jeans is fitting that that case in her pocket. It might fit in her wristlet though so I wouldn't completely write it off though.

I just purchased a Speck Candy Shell case and a Zagg Extreme screen protector for my I Phone 5. The phone is still on backorder so I can't comment on the case's performance yet. The deal breaker on the Otterbox for me was the built in screen protector that gets scratched over time. If a company would make an extreme protection phone case with a replaceable screen cover I would consider buying one.

I've but mine OB Defender in the back pocket of my jeans while riding my Harley.

I may be in the minority here, but I hate the otterbox cases. They literally make the phone twice as thick as it was without a case on it. And the rubber they use is sticky and gets lint on it, and it's hard as crap to get it in and out of pockets.
