Best & Cheapest Air Freshener

I am not sure what to do about air freshners in customer's cars.

Do you guys ask the customer if he wants any or do you simply put some in? If you ask, do you give them a choice of scents?

What is a popular choice for scent? New car? Any suggestion on what I should use?

How long does Striper scent last?

Well no answer on my last post, so here is the second try ;)

I tried something. I mixed New Car scent (diluted 3:1) and added 20% stripper scent (pure). Smell is nice but only lasts about a day or so.

Do any of you guys have a suggestion for something that would last longer than that?
 
Hey bud. Stripper scent does last a while.

It's true about the Downy beads not lasting but hey, smells great in my car when I need it to. You can try putting dryer sheets up underneath the seats where they cant see them.

I wonder if that dakota bomb gets on the windows and dash...?

Where I live, nearly everyone is a UK (University of Kentucky) basketball fan. We picked up some felt with a UK design and made about a 3-4" pouch. Walmart has scented candle wax in about any aroma you can think about. Six small blocks for $2. We like the soft amber cashmere scent. She sews the block in the pouch and puts it in the microwave for about 15 seconds - just enough to soften the wax. She also sews a rubber band on the pouch to hang it on the mirror. The scent lasts about 2 months. It works great for us.

Scented candles sounds like a great idea. Just need some way to place one Under a seat so that it won't move. I will definatelly be looking into that. Thanks!

Seriously? I can't get stripper scent to last more than a day tops. Even if I spray a ton of it. Very disappointed in that product.
 
Take a look at Odor Assassin Brand of spray products 1500 sprays in one can and not very expensive.
