Best coating for black car???

Opti Coat has more and more gloss as you apply multiple coats, but the protection attributes are there with a single coat so OPT has never officially recommended more.

The best finish is the best correction. So the finish is to protect it. For me, I'm gonna go with 22PLE w/ EXO V2 topped.

Black cars will probably need a light polishing every 1-2 years in order to maintain their appearance.

Opti-Coat 2.0 has a proven track record, but I recently had some experience with CQuartz UK and found it to have better gloss than Opti-Coat 2.0. The application of CQuartz UK seems to be a bit easier as well, from my one experience.

How is the durabilty of cquartz uk? What about maintenence? Do you have pics?

I did not take any pictures myself, but I think Adonis Detail has some up.

Durability of the 2014 version of UK should be 24 months per the CarPro FB page. I think a quick wipedown with Reload every 2-3 months is still recommended for optimal performance.

I've gota lot tied up in product, I'd feel better knowingi could still use them
You can always use your products.

How long they will "last" when applied atop Optimum's Coatings;
and, will the "characteristics" of Optimum's Coatings be affected/changed (and to what extent) by doing so...
Are among the questions that have often been raised.

One of my answers has been that it's up to an individual, and their "tastes":
Tastes...of which now I should include: The reduction of ones LSP-stock, as the case may warrant.

are opti coat 2.0 and opti coat pro the same thing? is 2.0 just a thinner version of the pro?

I am looking for a coating for a Black CLS63, any suggestions? looking for the wettest shine and great beading and durability? 22ple? Cquartz? Opti coat? Anything else?

Opti-Coat 2.0 is a consumer version of the original Opti-Coat Pro formula. It takes longer to harden so it's easier for someone to fix that has no machine polishing experience and it takes longer to flash so it will allow a longer application time for the novice.

The professional will prefer Opti-Coat Pro because it's ready for the real world sooner and the thicker application will yield more gloss. The pro version is only available to authorized dealers and has an optional 5 year warranty.

If I apply opti coat 2.0 multiple times will that compare with opti coat pro?
