i have a bmw alpine white looking for the best coating for high gloss and the wet look. not really looking for the longest protection a yr would be fine . i do have experience in all aspects of paint correction this will be done first. i just put on 4 coats of klasse hgsg wasnt happy with it couldnt really tell a difference. i just did the trunk lid to see if i could tell the difference not enough difference between klasse and nothing at all for the effort to put on 4 coats all over car . so i guess my next option would be a coating which one will give me the greatest shine and the wet look on the white paint thanks

We just finished detailing and applying nanolex coating on this white M4 its professional use product but we used to have great results with CQuartz UK its easy to apply and Durability about 2 years, Hope this helps. https://youtu.be/cnYwDYt9llw

will cquartz give me much difference than the klasse hgsg looks wise

White is not going to give you that super wow factor like other paints. Polishing will brighten the paint but when the lighting is right white has a nice gloss to it.

If you are not ready to step up to a full coating then I would recommend giving Gyeon CanCoat a try. Easy to apply and leaves a nice glassy type finish like a full coating. It offers similar characteristics of a coating.

If you choose to go with Cquartz then TiO2 (aka regular) has a higher reflectivity to it which based on my experience looks a bit better than UK on lighter colored paints.

AKA regular is know as "Classic"

Lol I know that. The op has no idea what TiO2 or Classic is. I should have just said non-UK to make it easier for the op to distinguish the differences between the two.

First of all you should make sure that your paint is absolutely defect free i.e(swirl marks, scratches, holograms and imbedded contaminants) by cleaning, claying and polishing addressing any defects to make sure your paint is shiny and glossyon it’s own so that you don’t depend on the coating ability to hide any imperfections.

A lot of the people here have had excellent experiences with Polish Angel coating on white paint. They have a white tinted one that should do you nicely and be easy to apply.

cold, cloudy/overcast afternoon.

IMO:
Under those conditions, the non-AGO
sourced Coating that’s on it, still looks
pretty glossy and reflective—at least
from where I’m currently sitting. :)

PITA to coat a white car. You can't see what you're doing.

True. This is where Polish Angel can make a good choice... applies more like a sealant, and you never have to worry about high spots. Both Viking Coat and Cosmic V2 look great on white.

PBL Synergy nano infused wax looks pretty special on white. Top it with Polished Angel High Gloss spray. You won't get 1 full year, but 6 months is easy to obtain and the combo behaves like a coating.
