best correction bang for buck

Thanks guys. It looks like I will be adding an additional pad when doing my car! I think I will be going with some M205 or HD speed and some hex logic pads.

I like apply the lsp by hand so no waxing pads needed for me.

Trust me, if you go with M205 you'll just end up at Speed anyway :D

I'd go with HD Polish and Speed and that will fill the majority of your polishing needs.

3D HD Speed

3D HD Polish

I couldn't agree more, in fact I wonder many arrogant "I don't buy OTC products" people have missed out on this!

Considering Meguiar's does almost all of their demonstrations with UC on every type of paint imaginable, and yield excellent results.... It's almost a no brainer. Especially considering they did a lot of demos with that giant 7" POLISHING pad, on a g110v2!

Almost all of my paint corrections begin (and end) with UC on a green hex logic pad. Sometimes M100, or FG400, but UC had been used the most. If I'm not going to polish after, M66 will remove any marring it may have caused, and leave some nice protection behind. I've used ColorX in that situation too.

I'll use UC over M105 any day on a random orbit machine. M105 is great with wool on a rotary. Just eats oxidation and defects for lunch - with none of that crazy dusting it gets with the r/o machines.
