Best DA Polisher for Beginner

im assuming polishing and waxing 1-2 ?

Polishing would fall under 3-4.

Speeds 2-3 you can use to apply wax/sealants/glazes.

Speed 1, I usually use to get paste wax onto my pad. Hit it once very quickly while my pad is in the tub and turn off, thats all you need.

Just be aware these are very general speed settings, you can change your speeds accordingly. Kind of how I use M205 on a higher speed to remove swirls that otherwise would require a heavier compound.

I have the PC 7424 XP and its worked just fine for me. I have never had an issue of it not having enough power.

I have a couple years experience on the PC, which I left with my family when I relocated overseas. Can anyone comment on whether any of these DAPs are dual voltage? Would love to pick up something like the GG or Flex, but we've got 240v here and would prefer not to have to use a converter, as it could be cumbersome while working on vehicles.

Don't think that Groit's has a 240v option. I've read that Meguiar's does offer one though and I know the Cyclo does as well. Also Flex has one and I assume Rupes does too (being from Italy).

Since I can't afford much, I have no option but to use Dawn and/or APC+. Rarely use the apc+.

Dawn has/will remove DG 501/601 and Collinite 845 for me without fail as long as I use hot water and spend the necessary time to completely rinse the pads, perhaps even soaking them in pure non-diluted soap for a while. Never had an issue with my Meguiar's pads backings coming loose. Of course, my situation is only one scenario and others may have different experiences.

If you see bubble's there's only only one reason you see them; the soap wasn't rinsed completely. Spend the time, do the work, and rinse the pads thoroughly. Has worked for me on Meguiar's pads, Lake country pads, and Buff-n-shine pads, without fail. Again, there are factors involved, and what I do somone else may not do.

I wash in the sink with hot water and have zero issues. Zero.

Bro can u elaborate how u strip off 501/601 with collinte 845 using dawn? Understand u use hot water? Thanks
