Best detailing products (wax etc)?!

I'm sorry but I don't get it, we can only talk about products sold on autogeek.net

That appears to be the case & I find that aspect of this forum highly disappointing. I'm sure I'm not alone in my hopes for a truely "open" forum discussion here. However if that's the rules here then I'm happy to abide by them.

well, i dont think that it will be a problem since AG carries pretty much damn near anything :D

Not to be rude but if its like that it sucks big time. I mean I can't say Zaino? Or else it gets deleted, c'mon.

This board was designed, sponsored, and will draw on the experiences of the new and old alike, but it is clearly to support Autogeek clients while using our vast array of products. As such the Terms and Conditions state clearly these intentions. Please PM Jason offline should further questions be needed answered, or if you would like to challenge this policy. Thanks !

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
On our Autogeekonline forums, we are here to learn and have fun. Our forum is a friendly environment, so please make your posts accordingly, and keep your avatar/signature friendly. Foul language, attacking others, personal threats, inappropriate images/links, etc. will NOT be tolerated.

Spam / unsolicited communication is prohibited, and will result in termination of membership privileges.

Respect must always be shown to ALL members. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Product discussion and support should be limited to products we carry and sell on www.autogeek.net, www.bikedepot.net, www.pinnaclewax.com, and www.wolfgangcarcare.com.

Please do not plagiarize or copy information without properly citing your source(s).

Now let's kick back and discuss what we all love - clean vehicles and detailing!

I suspect if we were on the Lowes forum, as customers we would not discuss products that Home Depot carried, other than in a post to suggest looking at carrying their line in the future. As a specific forum ... it has a little different design and philosophy. :o

Yup, that's what I read when I signed on. It's not hard to believe that when you go to a Sponsor's forum that they've spent the time and money putting together and they want you discuss what? Someone elses products (there are other forums for this)? If it weren't a sponsored forum or better said a forum supported by sponsors you might expect something different. This forum is here to educate us on the products AutoGeek and its affiliates provide with the hope that maybe, just maybe we'll spend a nickel with them so they can afford to pay for the service. It isn't censorship or oppression, it isn't a place where we are guaranteed freedom of the press. It's a forum with it's own set of rules, play by them and it works. It's a very valuable tool and there ins't enough time in the day to whine about it. It is what it is and that's a pretty dang nice forum. Thanks for the opportunity to visit. Just my 2 cents.

I totally understand you guys and respect your policy, but what if there is a product out there which gives me awesome results and you guys do not carry it. Would my post be deleted or would I be banned if I want to share my information with you guys?

Not at all we welcome everyone's opinion, but it does make it hard to have a productive discussion or help with a situation if it’s a product that we do not have or have any hands on knowledge.

I don't think it makes productive discussions hard to have at all, to the contrary it will give more color and depth to the already great AG forum. I'm happy to hear though that posts wouldnt simply be deleted.
