Best drying towel?

I don't ever use a towel to dry my car, but if I were going to I would probably try out the Dry Me Crazy towel. That thing looks insanely plush and I've seen a few reviews that interested me on it.
Leaf blower for now though..

I've used WW towels from a couple different sources, but was more partial to regular microfiber orange dryers. Then I bought a Dry me crazy. Totally different feel to the towel, almost like velvet. Super thick, but not grabby. One pass gets 99% of the water off, no need to knock out big drops with one damp towel then follow with a second dry towel, or make more than one pass with a single towel or however. Cuts drying time in half if not more. It really is that good.

I really like my Pakshak Ultra Soft Waffle Weave drying towels. In fact my dad like them so much he stole a couple for his own car he just bought.

the ABSORBER is all youll ever need to dry a car, its incredible ive been using it for years and never touched any other product

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE IN TOWELS!!! Buy just one at Walmart for $12 and it will be the last one you buy. They have an imitation one as well that works fine. It just doesn't come in the big XL size the Absorber comes in.

can't say i've used a dedicated drying towel in a looong time. in between having a leaf blower and metro blaster, a normal sized mf towel to blot here and there is all that's needed....

Dry me crazy
And wolly mammoth

I prefer a towel over making water slide over the car, no damage so far, just use a high quality like the Dry Me Crazy. I don't like waffle weaves since the nap is so small.

I never understood the idea of "blotting". I tried it once on my car and it ended up horrible. This "blotting" technique never leaves my car 100% dry, and i was left with spots all over my car. Only way i can make a waffle weave work on MY car is by wiping it dry onto the sections with some water left after leaf blowing it. That method works for me.

N keep in mind im using a DI Waffle Weave Towel that isnt by any means cheap.

I am not a huge fan of blotting either. Sheeting yes but I think just a gently drag of a towel doesn't lead to damage if done correctly.

The best drying towel I've used is not a drying towel at all. In fact, its not even "dry" ...it's wet.

Try a damp (rinse and ring out ) 600 weight MF towel spritzed with a drying agent of your choice, and you will soon throw out every waffle weave drying towel in your stash.

A damp MF towel is more absorbent than any conventional drying towel on the market. They are also safer with the long nap versus ww.

Are you using MFTECH greenies? Just curious as I like the idea and want to try it I have a bunch of those towels lying around unused!

Microfiber madness wave rider. Soft and soaks up a lot of water.

I really love their towels, I have a couple of Dry me Crazy towels (1300gsm) and they are great! I gotta get some of those ware rider to try them out!

I've used an Absorber for years, recently bought a Cobra waffle weave (20x40 or something like that).

Absorber when wringed out, does nice job......cobra soaks up more water without needing to be wrung out. Just my two cents worth.
I got absorber from Amazon and tried it on my car. I felt towel is a bit grabby and afraid to use it. Do you felt the same? Thanks in advance

Here is my absorber.
I bought it about 10 years ago and never tossed it.

Took me a while to find a use for it.

There are much better options for drying towels out there.
It is grabby and anything underneath it that might have been missed will scour the paint. It might work for shower walls.

I found I had significantly less swirls from drying when I quite using an Absorber and started using a good waffle weave MF towel. I still have my Absorber, but only use it for my wheels.

I do not have any swirls with a proper washing, drying with leaf blower and touching up with a small Microfiber Madness towel. It all in the technique not so much the towels.

Touching your cars paint causes scratches / swirls from the first step of washing. That why I high pressure pre-rinse then foam the whole car and rise again after it sits covered in foam. Then you wash the car and rinse it very well and let everything sheet off with an open end hose free flowing.

I will NEVER use a thin sponge like towel call the ABSORBER because they pick up small particle's and never let them go. Never use a water blade because they are just stupid when you think about it. AIR moves the water off the paint without touching the paint like a towel. You do not need any drying agent or special towel just touch less air. You can blow out every jam, mirror, rim head light and tail light and grill with a blower. When you are done being super OCD like me you can finish up blow drying the car and use a small 16x16 high quality towel like Microfiber Madness to touch up the few little drops you find.

If you are going to clay a car you need to do the above except dry before you even get out the clay. I have seen people claying before they even wash the car from the beginning. Why anyone would clay a dirty car with out washing it first is beyond me. They are just grinding dirt into the paint (Scratching) before they even wash and polish the car. This will make their Correct and Polish phase even longer. UGH

Absorber and water sprite are great if you are 100% sure your paint and surface is 100% clean. If not it will not have anywhere to allow the dirt to go other than the surface and then you have a fine sand paper like a magic eraser type surface.

It does work well but it is very hard to be sure you are 100% clean every time. Always that risk for a bit of film you didn't get off of that spot you thought you hit

I'm a hack though so I always seem to miss something on a traditional hose bucket wash especially black cause they dry so quick
