Best/Easiest Tire Dressing

Opti-coat from Optimum, but the new Blackfire one looks very promising.

You like some shine! :xyxthumbs:

I shine from time to time Buddy! Im the MAN

I actually apply, let sit then wipe down with a junk MF and it gives a look I like very much! I like how the old formula gives that deep black look to tires.

I have about 6 dressings - my goto is a round foam applicator and stoners "more shine"...a nice matte clean new tire look...no gloss

I carry megs hyper dressing and megs all season dressing. they're ok, but i get inconsistent results sometimes

stranded on an island with only 1 tire dressing => poorboys bold n bright

My preference is WG BDTG. I prefer it over every AG brand (DP, WG, Pinnacle).

I've used PERL, but I absolutely detest it for the purpose of tire dressing. In fact, I used it for another test last Wednesday, passenger side tires with PERL and driver side with WG. The next day it rained. Since then, the PERL side tires have looked something to the effect of a burnt zebra skin pattern. WG side still looks almost like it did an hour after I applied/buffed it.

That being said, PERL is my go-to for engine and interiors for the most part.:props:

Most durable is Tuff Shine but AG doesnt it or any other tire coatings. I wish they did. DP is my favorite tire dressing and never slings!

I prefer " ghetto " sheen wet with Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel

I too use BDTG, but my tyres come out looking matte/just dressed(just, the way I like em) but nowhere near that ghetto shine!

How many layers have you got on there!?

I'd say about 3 coats applied within an hour ! If I'm gonna apply anything on the tires it's gonna be noticeable !

Its been a while since I bought some, but the grape tire dressing I used to get from top of the line was pretty good, smelled good too FWIW. Its very wet, so I would just squeeze it out of the bottle onto the app pad and it would spread very easy.

On a side note, today's tires and their stupid ribbed design make applying tire dressing kinda of a chore IMO. This is why I like Continental DWS, seriously, I chose a tire based off of the sidewall (all kidding aside, its a great tire too, LOL!)

I've been using Wolfgang Gel almost exclusively since I tried it a few months ago. I like the deep conditioned matte look it gives. I apply it with a damp tire dressing sponge and then wipe away the excess product with a dry MF. Next on my list is Z16.
