I’ve heard enough jiba jaba hearsay about attracting dust, yet zero proof.

I guess I’ll have to provide it myself because all everyone seems to want to do is talk… Talk is cheap, and I ain’t buying any.

50/50 Beadmaker test on a black vehicle coming up later today. We’re going to find out the truth.

I did testing myself about two years ago. If I use BM as a drying aid in high humidity 85%+ it's a dust magnet. It takes to long to cure to a slick surface. If I apply in lower humidity say 60% or less it works great. My problem with it is that I have to wash my car in the morning to avoid washing in direct sunlight and the humidity here in S. Florida is always 85%+ at 8-9 in the morning. BM is a non starter for me for that reason.

My vehicle is black so the dust is really noticeable. No such dusting issues with my current drying aid Ultima Acrylic Waterless Wash.....ever!

It's worth noting my car isn't garaged. I'm at odds with nature and nature wins with BM.

In my opinoin non of the above. I like the new Ice Spray Wax, Dura Gloss Aqua wax, Eagle One Wipe and Shine, and Dura Gloss Fast Clean and Shine.

So in other words the test was done on the same car, on 2 separate days… Sorry, but that’s invalid.

Here’s the victim, but the owners leaving so I won’t be able to do it for another 4hrs.

Why would that be invalid? On high humidity days it gathered dust, on low humidity days it didn't. That's all the proof I needed.

Humidity is the only variable.

Different days, different conditions, different opinion based on your mood and how you decided to judge the visuals on 2 completely different days.
Not a 50/50
How do we know it wasn’t windy 1 day and not the other?
Exactly how long was the waiting period on both tests?
The list goes on and on…

And where’s the link to your thread documenting any of this?

How do you expect the guy to get half his hood humid and the other half arid for an extended period of time to test?

Well, I wish you luck. Since your in SoCal you have less humidity and may have better results.

I’m here for it! Look forward to seeing the results.

My daily driver is ceramic coated.
I figured I’d have some fun and top it with Bead Maker.

🤯

Most improved gloss I’ve seen using a topper. And my car stayed cleaner, a few days longer than usual. I live on a horse ranch, and there’s plenty of dust here. Bead Maker has never “attracted” more dust to the vehicle. This is my user experience.

My go-to topper is in fact, “Topper”
from Xtreme Solutions. Goes over anything and has a near-immediate gloss increase. It’s bright and vivid as opposed to Bead Maker’s deep wet gloss.

OP inspired me….Washed my truck last night and used need for bead as a drying aid and it worked great. It was 90 degrees outside with a real feel of 106 and 85% humidity…and this was at 7pm! Sometimes trying to get the paint dry in these kinds of conditions is difficult, but the need for bead did great and I got zero streaking and the paint is super slick today (couldn’t really tell when I was done last night) If I’m feeling froggy tomorrow I might wash the wife’s car and try the 3D bead it up and see how it does and report back.

I also did a test last year on my Tempest Blue (dark) Jetta, half panel Bead Maker and half panel Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax, it was noticeable how BM half was more dusty than the Griots...
I actuallybposted here in a thread and several people agreed that they had similar issues.
I love BM slickness, ease of use and gloss but man it does attracts more dust in my environment, I agree with the humidity factor.
I still use it from now and then

Beadmaker always seems to be a contentious issue for some reason, i have never used it. Interesting all the same.

I could never get over the name p and s. Did they have no foresight? Or was it intentional lol

Beadmaker is probably no better or worst then 90% of spray type sealants on the market. Its very cheap probably why its so popular lol And i guess youtube influencers maybe had a hand in making the product so well known. Its almost in ONR territory it seems.

Its interesting how some products take on a life of their own. Especially ones that don't stand out like i don't the famous rupes yellow foam, i admire that pad lol

Considering there are literally hundreds if not thousands of spray sealants its interesting how beadmaker make such a mark, good or bad..

I recently have been using AutoFanatic 007 high gloss as a topper, and have really been impressed with the gloss/lack of dust attraction. Polish Angel High gloss is also awesome, with a little more dust attraction thatn 007, but my bottle over 3 months has gummed up with clumps. I have been pleased with the 007 for sure.

I know its not on the OP's list however I have had really great results with Griots ceramic speed shine as a topper/maintenance sacrificial layer. Very easy product to use, probably good for a month or so protection wise and has done well on both a white Grand Cherokee as well as a black Lucerne.

I ceramic coat my truck (2018) and car (2012) every year.

After washing use Beadmaker, always gets lots of nice comments "New truck? Special Edition? New Paint job, etc.

The truck is outside, wife's car inside, I haven't noticed a difference with dust on the car
