I love the shine and ease of use of 3D Bead it Up, smells awesome, but and a big but, it really attracted dust for me. I have been using Sonax Ultra Slick Ceramic detail spray and has been my topper of choice.

I was fortunate to not experiemce this, but Speed and 3D Express Wax both "seemed" to attract dust, but it was on a vehicles I had done during pollen season.

Optimum and Duragloss didn't seem to exhibit this trait during the same conditions.

At the time I did those cars, my car had Optimum Car Wax on it, and received Optimum Instant Detailer as a drying aide with ONR washes.

I'll pay closer attention to Bead It Up next spring on my Moms car. I'm going to coat it with the 3D Coating, and maintain it with Bead It Up.

Glassparency Boost. One of the nicest spray sealants

Ceramic

Another good one is 22ple VS1.

There is a HUGE price difference between 22ple VS1 and Glassparency Boost. Wow. 8oz for $50 for VS1 vs 16oz for $20 (1 gal for $50) with Boost at MSRP anyway. I've been thinking about a topper and drying aid and Boost may be what I'm looking for. Thanks Guz.

I’m still loving DP Need for Bead. I don’t see myself using anything else unless it gets discontinued.

Been using Technician's Choice TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray for about a year now, and for 5 gallons, its pretty economical and works extremely well. I'd say better than Reload, there's almost no streaking at all and the slickness is as good or better.

I use it on everything around here! RV's, boats, vehicles, I've even been known to use it on the shop's windows and touch screens on phones and car stereos!

Don't recall what it cost me, but for 5 gallons, it was quite reasonable from what I recall. I get it through my local mobile detail supplier, he's been selling this stuff for a while now and most of his pdi shops (mostly RV and auto dealerships) all swear by this stuff.

Just another alternative added to the mix here!

Technitions Choice makes some very good stuff.

I'm starting to get the bug to play with toppers...just because.

How is Boost's water behavior? I don't want anything that will change/alter the coatings I'm using now. Cure was great at keeping the coating behavior going, but not the easiest to apply so I'm looking for another product.

The water behavior is very good on it. If you don't want anything to alter the behavior then you are won't want to use it as that is what a ceramic spray sealant is going to do. Boost is easy to apply and great slickness. One of the better products in their line up. If you want to try it PM me for a $5 discount code.

Guz got me to buy it but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I know his standards and know it will work well. I'll post up when I get a chance to use it.

I think I PMed you the discount code so you can save a little. Enjoy it.

"No really honey, I wasn't gonna buy any more detailing stuff but this guy online made me!"

You left out the rolling of eyes but yes, that is basically how it went.

We can’t forget your influence on my purchasing habits. :) I don’t think I’m a hobbyist detailer. I think I’m a hobbyist detailer product collector. At least I’m better at all parts of detailing, inside and out.

Indeed

Blessed is the workplace shipping address where we can receive things away from prying eyes

Well I used Boost for the first time today as a drying aid for a N-914 rinseless wash on a currently uncoated car. I have most recently used Sonax Ultra Slick Detailer and I haven’t been that impressed by it. Boost is definitely impressive as it feels ultra slick with just a few sprays and my PFM drying towels just glide across the paint. Thanks Guz!
