I about to upgrade to some black wheels for my corvette,
And I'd like to protect them right from the start
I currently have collonite 845 as well as DG 501 and Meg's ultimate wax
Which of these would be the best? Or would it be better to buy some Rejex?

Mainly want to make them easier to clean down the road

Thanks

Have you considered a coating like the new Pinnacle Black Label or OC2.0 or CQuartz. Reason is a coating will not only make it easier to maintain but is chemical resistant so no worries about throwing some APC on your dirty rubber and fearing that your sealant will be stripped off.... and you get the benefit of a major enhancement in gloss

Opti-Coat 2.0 would be my recommendation followed by Cquartz. Both are easily accessible and not too difficult to apply to wheels (generally speaking).

Opti coat. You will not regret it.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online

Gtechnics Wheel Armor .... if you are spending the $$ on wheels, protect them properly !!

Using products I own already
Would DG 501 then col 845 be redundant
Just 845 would be as good?

Central Mississippi
No salt
Mild winters

With the no salt and mild winters, either should be fine for your wheels. If using 845, go on thin and then add a nice wax on top for extra pop if you are showing it off. If taking the vette racing, then clean it thoroughly afterwards and just put another application on top. :xyxthumbs:
Long term "best possible" results, a coating would be perfect, otherwise use what you got and use it often, (from Mike P!)

It definitely won't be racing. I love the looks the power is fun!

Please explain- doesn oc repel? So cquartz would not be able to adhere and second protectant?

CarPro Hydro O2- Cant possibly find anything easier to apply..spray on, hose off, period!

If not, 845 works fine or CarPro Dlux.
