I wasn't suggesting you neglected your car but rather the leaf blower works so much better on waxed vs non waxed paint. Nothing wrong with waffle towels. I usually need a towel to finish up and just blot dry a few remaining areas.

Black cars always look so great after detailing but are a bear to keep clean. Everyone should own at least one black car lol. The blower I use is aToro model 51602 rated at 239mph & 390cfm for about $55 from Home Depot.

I'd have to think a Baster Blaster would be an awesome piece of equipment to have. That said if you find a leaf blower that works for you it's a much less expensive alternative.

Yes, black was the worst decision I ever made. I will never ever buy another black rig. It might be fine for a garage queen but simply doesn't work for a daily driver (not to mention it's a truck that actually gets used as a truck).

Maybe before I drop the cash on a master blaster I'll give a "more substantial" leaf blower a shot.

I agree with you on this. It helps to sheet the water off before you start to dry also. I have a electric blower rated at 220 MPH and it does a great job of drying. I still use instant detailer when I finish but I would rather use the blower to get all the excess water off. I can also take care of the tires since I dry them off with the blower also.
