BEST interior cleaner/protectant.....matte finish!!!

Try ONR or DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss. It can clean and leaves the surface natural.

is the pw trim restorer more prone to weather than the natural look?

haha, yeah way off topic, i noticed there were many recommendations for pw natural look...i have trim restorer and was just wondering are they basically the same thing but trim restorer can handle weather conditions a bit better?

Sorry red, I was thinking that PWTR was for exterior and PWNL was for interior, but both can be used for interior or exterior. Does one last better than the other, dunno.

no problem rsurfer. my post was confusing but yes that is what i was asking, which lasts longer in exterior conditions.

I would have to say that meg's APC cut down to about 6:1 is good enough for me

I've read that 1Z does not have a UV protector in it? That is why I have been topping with NL, NL has more of the matte finish I prefer then say 303. Anyone know if cockpit premium has UV protectant?

I would send 1z an email, as nothing I've read just now says it does. It indicates it does with the statement "Oil-free, non-slip finish formula prevents fading from UV exposure."

I received the following email response from 1Z about the UV protection of Cockpit Premium:

einszett Cockpit Premium contains a minimum amount of UV protection. This is because interior surfaces are not exposed to the same UV exposure as exterior surfaces since automotive glass filters a great deal of UV rays which can cause fading over time. However, Cockpit Premium does contain protectants that prevent fading due to heat. If you need a plastic, vinyl and rubber cleaner and protectant with strong UV protection, use einszett Vinyl-Rubber Care and Protectant, which is designed for exterior treatment where UV exposure is high. It offers maximum protection from UV rays and is water and wash resistant for a long-lasting finish. Please note, Vinyl-Rubber Care should not be applied on the steering wheel, shift knob or pedals because of a danger of slippage. Hope this helps.

I am sorry I missed this earlier ... yes it does. The UV protection in 303 is better but product was designed for exterior also whereas Cockpit Premium was designed for interior only. As offered above in reply from them, they do offer a matte dressing with higher UV protection to compete with the 303 product.

I'm using the DP, and for me, when applied per label, it's a matte finish, even on black vinyl.

My application may be different. I apply the product with a MF sponge, then buff it dry with a MF Towel. The product label does state, wipe dry.

I'm learning that most products can be adjusted to individual preferences by simply buffing or allowing to dry on its own.

For cleaner, I ordered APC+. Fantastic! Well, better than the Fantastic product. :D The APC+ at 10:1, leaves everything clean and refreshed, ready for dressing.

Those are my experiences, and I'm sticking to them. :)
