Hey guys, well Im in the process of deailing this:

P1010061.jpg

Big and Black, and covered with very very stuborn waterspots, the pictures from the first time I did it and that was about 8 months ago, so the paint is in pretty ruff shape, but Im getting it with some good old menzerna products, Ill be posting pics later. Anyway tomy question, because of how bad the water spots are and not knowing how long till I do it again, I want to protect the heck out of the paint. Here are two combos I am thinking about going with, tell me which one you think would last the longest, not really worried about the look.

Wolfgang Sealant topped with Pinnacle Soveran

or

Collinite Insulator Wax topped with Collinite Super Double Coat

I was going to use the first combo, but then rembered that collinite products were pretty tuff, but I haven't used them to often to really know, so let me know which one you think will work the best for really protecting the paint.

Go with the Menz,Wolf and Pinnacle...........its the best combo

If protection and durability are your main concerns go with collonite.

Souveran is a "beauty" wax. Its not really knownm for outstanding durability.

Just remember to put your efforts into the prep work, this is what the finished product is going to look like. Your lsp is just to protect your hard work. I use wolfgang for a sealant. I am not big on topping a sealant with a nuba , to me it hurts the nuba from doing its best and therefore hurts the overall look. Have fun doing that truck, I did a red one just like that with acid rain and I had 42 hours in it.

I use the Wolfgang sealant as well. I topped it with a coat of Natty's Blue though. Wolfgang is good stuff.

I have used, WG and then Fusion, DG105 with Collonite 476s, DG105 with Collonite Insulator and so far the DG105 with 476 topper has out lasted the others on daily drivers this spring. However the WG with the Fusion topper still looks pretty good as well and seems to be holding up. I did all of these 6 weeks ago about two days apart so they all have the same amount of time on them. It is really hard to say which one really holds up the best.

i like danase wet glaze followed by 4 star ultimate paint protection.....

I have used Klasse AIO. topped with souvern on my wife's dark blue toyota, and AIO topped with fuzion on my white ford taurus. Both cars look great, with the proper surface prep application and removal is a breeze
