Best method to dressing large, aggressive tires.

Another area which has hurt me in the past is trying to apply any sort of dressing onto the the hard plastic trim that surrounds the top of the truckbed. It's nearly impossible. From now on only spray wax.

Yes! I found this out this past weekend also on the truck's bumper covers. It rejected CG VRP and CarPro PERL, both left white hazy residues rather than shine. So I found a use for all the CG V7 detailer I no longer use, it made the hard black plastic look pretty good and made it the 48 hours of showing.

The key to getting a year out of a tire coating, not a dressing is the same key to getting a great paint job and it all comes down to the prep work.

Ok, I guess I'm guilty as anyone. I am going to give machine brush and full strength tire cleaner a shot next time.
