Best Non-Gas-Powered Pressure Washer that is Foam Cannon Compatible?

I'm interested in the Karcher for the self-priming feature. My current electric pw (very cheap) has a hard time maintaining steady pressure at 50% of the houses I hook up to. Plus, the Karcher would make it easy when used with a trailer-mounted water tank. Still trying to figure out a mobile trailer set-up... along with CR Spotless, water tank config, go ONR or not... very confused.

I recently purchased a Greenworks 1700psi 1.4gpm unit from Lowes and it works really well with a foam cannkn. Just got really tired of dragging out and setting up my gas PW. Normal price was $199. I got it for $50. (Friend is the manager plus I had a $50 gift card. Lol)

GreenWorks/CleanForce would be my vote since they are available at Lowes/HD. Get the warranty and make sure to get the right quick attachments.

I really enjoy my greenworks 1600 psi pressure washer (electric)

I have a small mitm 1250 [email protected]. Only use it when I have early AM jobs that requires not waking the neighbours. If I was only interested in a electric PW I would have to buy the $99 special with extended warranty. They do not hold up to everyday use. My MITM has about 500 hours of use without any issues. I do run Amsoil in all my pumps. Northern Tool has a couple nice electric PW with Cat pumps.

I also have the Greenworks Electric @ 1700psi

Recently upgraded to the Ryobi Gas with the Honda engine.

I'm not sure but seems as this may work for mobile unit for vehicles without additional (water) pump, May purchase undecided now, has axial pump & B&S motor, light & very portable, seems as it may drain water tank alone.

Are you fellas using 3/4" water hoses to feed the unit? I've seen several threads on various forums complaining about new MTM canon units not putting out much foam.

HONDA GVC 160 vs GX 160 what is the difference and would a SEARS pressure washer be sufficent to connect directly to a water tank?

I really like my CleanForce 1800 from Home Depot. The best thing is the cords roll up inside the unit for easy transport (I'm mobile). Also, the wand uses standard quick disconnect fittings so no adapter is necessary to attach a foam cannon. Also, for about $10 worth of fittings you can take the extension wand off and attached the foam cannon directly to the gun tip.

One is build more towards residential use
While the other for commercial

I do not know the part about connecting to water tank

There are hundreds of different electric models out there but I would stay clear of 90% of them. If you go with a cheap model under $300 get the extended warranty. Northern tool has a few nice electric models with a cat pump in your price range. The pump is what you wanna focus on. Cat, general, ar, comet are all good pumps. As far as the difference in models on Honda gas engines the GX models have iron sleeves and several other benefits over the GCX that is basically a throw away motor IMHO.The sears model mentioned is garbage too. Sorry, but please dont waste your money.Lousy motor and lousy pump. Although the presentation is nice you will only get a couple hundred hours out of it. I run a mitm 13 hp Honda gx390 3500 psi belt drive with an AR pump. I have over 4000 hours on my washer with not one break down or hiccup. Please keep in mind you can run your washer at half throttle and use a less aggressive spray tips if you are concerned about damaging paint etc. If you do buy used look out for milky oil in pump as this is a sign of needing to overhaul pump.with the correct fittings from any hardware store the foam gun will work on almost all washers.

It really doesn't matter what name washer you choose to go with. There are some really good articles in search forum. You can buy a nice used Honda gx160 or 200 motor for next to nothing on CL. Then northern tool sells nice pumps by themself for few hundred. They bolt directly to engine.couple quick connects a hose( if you do mostly boats get the non marking one). I was never a believer in having an inline pump. I let gravity do its job. Put a gallon under your water tank count how long it takes to fill.Make sure this is sufficient for your gpm. I ditched my 65 gallon tank but am able to install if needed within 10 minutes. You probably wanna stay under 3 gpm if you do alto of washes etc... I posted a pic of a small mitm electric washer that is one of the best available in my opinion. It is very compact 1x1 if that.Probably already know to make sure pump is lower then tank.

Hey guys,

like most of you I prefer a electric pressure washer over a gas powered for the simple fact of less noise (when I mobiled) plus I didn't have to carry around a extra jug of gas. My little Karcher #54005 with 1400lbs. pressure and 1.3 gpm that is now around 7 years old is starting to give me problems and makes me wonder if it's going to go south on me during my next wash.

I was checking out the Greenworks at lowes yesterday and like the features it had and psi. I'm not mobile any more and just use for my self and maybe a cash job here and there just wondering for you guys that have them what's you like about this $200.00 washer over the $100.00+ Karchers.

Seen this stanley at wally world a couple weeks ago with about the same features has the Greenworks, does anyone have or have used one?
