Re: Best of Show Winner - 9th Annual Detail Fest

I thought this GTO looked familiar...

Excerpted from this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...ike-phillips/73934-back-black-1969-gto-3.html

I'm sure if Den is in town the weekend of Detail Fest he'll have his car on display.
So mark your calenders as Detail Fest is March 15th and 16th this year.

Maybe we can park Den's GTO next to Tommy's show winning Cuda?
:)

...last time I spoke with Den he had some engine issues
and he might not be able to have his car here at Detail Fest.
I'll touch bases with him to get the latest update because if possible,

it would be great to have his car parked next to Tommy's Cuda
so people can see hat a show car finish is supped to look like.
..
:xyxthumbs:

Glad it all worked out!
Congratulations Den!! :dblthumb2:

That's a good lookin GTO. It caught my eye on day 1

Congratulations, Den. It doesn't get any better than that. I looked at it carefully and saw no room for improvement. The car also brought back memories of my black on black '66 GTO convertible. Sweet ride!

Also Den, remember what I said about the magnetic pick up on the oil pan and cut the oil filter in half after 50 miles and inspect for shavings. We need that GOAT on the road for at least another 150,000.00 miles.Tim.

I don't know if there's anything awesomer than someone who learned how to polish paint at Thursday night classes go on to take best of show at detail Fest. Great job, car looks amazing. The Cuda sitting next to it isn't half bad either!

:iagree: Those were my first thoughts too, recognizing the car from the post Mike made about it a few months ago. What a testament to AutoGeek Garage, and Mike's teaching skills and leadership. :dblthumb2:

Congratulations on the win and for owning such a fine example of true American muscle! :props:

Congrats Den ! You should be real proud . It took a real special car to take out my Cuda ! I'm glad it was you ! Well deserved
