If you can get a DA Polisher you can use it with your Trizact discs.
This article is on dampsanding using Meguiar's Unigrit Discs but all the information would work well with the 3M Trizact discs.
Some guys sand dry, I prefer wet otherwise you need to wear a dust mask so you don't breathe in paint particulates.

#1500 is a good normal safe starting point. Some people start at #800 or #1000, kind of depends upon how much material you sprayed, lower grits are going to remove a lot of material fast.
Nikken Finishing Papers have 100% fill over the entire sheet of paper, as well as Unigrit particle size, point is these papers cut faster and more evenly than most automotive grade papers and this allows you to move up one grit level to get the same efficiency while leaving easier to remove sanding marks.
