Best Paint Sealant(Winter Daily Drivers)

I used Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 last winter and it was great!

I've had turtle wax ice paste wax last longer than Collinite and anything else I've tried

Would it be fair to place the "blame" solely on the fact
that it contains a volatile-polydimethylcyclosiloxane?

With a quick search on Wikipedia I don't see how it's nad, maybe I didn't do enough looking around, what's volatile about it?

Thank you everyone for your great help and suggestions. This is definitely getting the wheel turning in my head, and giving me an understanding of what some of the better products are out there!

Have a great Sunday everyone and Peace!

Menzerna PowerLock, Sonax PolymerNetShield, Meguiar's M21, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, OptiSeal.

Can't go wrong with any of these

I've had a friend question how my car looks so clean and shiny while it's raining. Had Meguiar's Ultimate wax on there. Going to be trying Wolfgang's deep gloss sealant sometime soon though, nothing but good reviews.

I wanted to get DG 111 and the total price after discount came up $8 for 8oz. I got power lock 16oz after discount for $16.80 f/s. So, basically they cost the same :xyxthumbs:

I have a question for all the FK1000P fans.
I've been using FK for a few years as my go-to wheel wax, since it's all but bulletproof in that application. This past Saturday night and Sunday, I did the winter prep on my DD Black Lacrosse, parked outside 24/7 in Western PA. For the past 4 winters my prep has always involved a DG/ Collinite cocktail. This year, after clay&polishing with Meguiar's UC, I machine-applied DG105/601 Sunday morning, then came back after dinner with the FK. Unfortunately, I had to move it back outside after only a 2 hour cure, since my El Camino was whimpering softly in the cold outside. Monday morning I inspected it after the sun burned off the frost and it looked pretty darn good, but shy of the "pop" I get using Colli 476 or 915. If it lasts as long on the paint as it does on wheels, I'll still be satisfied, but I am just a little disappointed. Is this to be expected, or are my tired old eyes deceiving me? Did I shortcut the curing by moving it outside in the cold after just a couple hours?
Whadaya think, FK experts?

Bill
