Best polish for wood trim?

Greetings everyone. I purchased my wife a brand new broom to ride around on. She really wanted the turbo but it was not in the budget. Is pledge an acceptable product to use on wood? Halloween is our wedding anniversary and I wanted to get her something she could really get some use out of.

Got my wife the same model,she's not very happy with it looks like a trade in to the turbo is in order! :D

My Ex wife is the global sales rep for those brooms, she also has a flying monkey concession should you or the wife need them!
 
Dang it, I totally forgot about the flying monkies. Christmas is right around the corner though!
