Best presoak method with UWW+ before using ONR for rinseless?

I'm gonna order UWW+ to see how well it works. I have been using ONR as rinseless wash.

I use a 3 gallon garden sprayer to do my pre-rinse and ONR cannot be more economical (of course I don't use a gallon of product for pre-rinse)

If 1oz can make 3 gallon of rinseless wash, and the bottle is 18oz, that means I can perform 18 rinseless washes on my car (not including the pre-rinse solution). And if I do one rinseless wash a week for 18 weeks, I think $20 would be worth trying out :)

Can I ask a stupid question.

What's in the + in UWW?

Marketing

I bet it has to do with more than that, its probably because its has more than just use as a waterless wash, thus the plus. But you're answer to most things is "hype" or "marketing", at least think of another word. ;)

Exactly, it's a two bucket wash with a presoak. It's not rocket science. Making it all technical sucks the fun right out. OP is new so he's learning, but he's not doing himself any favors by over thinking it all so much. He should stop reading and just get to it.

That's correct, I am a mechanical engineer not an expert detailer, I just wanted some advices on how to do a rinseless wash safer, in mechanics it is always a lot of analysis and looking of ways of how to improve things but I'll listen to you guys.

So what you suggest is using just one product and to presoak and rinseless wash, and when I finish the bottle move to the other product? I already bought both.

I thought ONRWW had carnauba in it?

I thought the same too, in the product description it says:

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax combines the attributes that made No Rinse Wash & Shine such a widely accepted product among car care enthusiasts and professional detailers and supercharges it by adding real carnauba wax and advanced UV inhibitors. After you wash your vehicle with Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax, you’ll immediately notice the crisp, clear reflections that the real carnauba wax imparts on the paint. What’s more, your vehicle will stay cleaner as the carnauba wax will create an immense amount of surface tension, causing water to bead up and roll off.

There is one thing you should know about your vehicle’s paint: the UV inhibitors in your clear coat have a half life of about five years. That means if you don’t keep your vehicle clean and protected on a regular basis, your clear coat will slowly begin to wear away, leaving the color coat exposed to the elements. Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax is a dual-purpose product; you wash your car the environmentally-friendly way while imparting a glossy, protective layer of carnauba wax and advanced UV inhibitors.

I just call it as I see it. Don't let my post fool you I'm actually a fan of UWW+. In fact I think it should be called UWW+++++++++++++++++++. But I don't run the marketing department.
