All of us on here are always on the hunt for a product that helps with the dust.I've been using Fk#425 and been very happy with it.And now that Ag carries it that makes it alot easier to order some.Feed back please
What is the best product to use to stop my black car from being a DUST MAGNET?
The car has been sealed with wdgps and waxed with Fuzion
I have to second FK 425. Killrwheels tried FK 146 and had equal success, but it is not the cure all for dust. Just merely cuts it down a bit.
I also have a black car and have noticed that if I use a less plush microfiber towel when QD'ing I generate a lot less static. I have recently started using my Cobra waffle weave guzzlers when doing a GENTLE (in one direction) wipe down with FK 425. The static generation and dust accumulation has been considerably reduced for me since I started using the WW guzzlers w/ my FK 425 wipe downs.
That's a good point. I never thought about how the nap of a towel would effect the static. I've got a few of the newer non-cobra waffle weaves from AG that I don't really car for (as far as drying goes), so they might make a good qd towel.I also have a black car and have noticed that if I use a less plush microfiber towel when QD'ing I generate a lot less static. For example?Like just mentioned most of the static is from you rubbing the paint with the microfibers. This can be cut down alittle by the way you dry your towels.

Thanks for the tip!
I find the best of both worlds are the Cobra green detailers towels (small ones), which have enough plushness to allow for some protection against marring but don't have the deep nap that seems to create static.
Now if I try to use my shamrocks, forget about it!

For example?
Never use any heat in the dryer to dry the towels. If at all possible tumble dry them and right before they are completely dry air dry them. This will cut down alot of the static problem.
