Best products for black car..

Hi... I'm new here and would like to get recommendations on the best products for my black 2008 Acuar TL. The car is very clean - except for a few chips on the front bumper and front fenders. I have one ding on the driver's door that looks at me and a few superficial scratches on the side skirts. I have no dents or scratches on either bumper. I baby the car. I park far from cars in malls, shopping centers, and almost never parallel park on busy streets. It drives my girlfriend nuts but she lives with it.

Anyway, I have been using the following products without compaints: MEGUIARS #7 glaze
Mothers & Meguairs clar bars and their cleaner waxes that are included.
Meguairs TECH WAX 2.0..

FYI, all the above-mentioned are applied by hand..

After doing some research I've decided to buy the PC7424 but would like some input on the best products for a black car. Anyone that knows this black pearl paint from Acura knows that it has blue sparkles so when it's clean it looks great but when it's dirty it looks like I did bulldozing with a John Deere.

Any input would be appreciated.

You’ll get all type of suggestion and it will be enough to confuse you, but here is how I get down on my black Infiniti:

By Order
1. Polish(Menzerna SIP)
2. PoorBoys Pure Sealant
3. Poor Boys Black Hole Glaze (this is for black cars)
4. Poor Boys Nattys Blue paste wax (another dark car product)
5. Meguairs Tech Wax #26( yes… I use this over the nattys blue paste wax) excellent results

I also use the PC 7424. You might be better off applying and removing the waxes by hand. Have lots of clean MicroFiber towels on hand.

Very Nice ! I love Black and have a Black Car but what a PITA to keep flawless ! I just resolve myself to 30 % more time on correction and settle for 98% plus perfection rate!

Menzerna SIP/Nano are great polishes. I have a PC as well and it works well with those polishes. I've used Natty's Blue and Dodo Juice Orange Crush as waxes and have no complaints. Natty's Blue is a great wax for a cheap price that looks phenomenal on dark colored cars.

grab the Menzerna Ceramiclear buffer kit ... add Souveran Paste. You can also add Four Star UPP as wanted for a sealant. Perfect black companions.

I used to own an 02' TL-S. Same color as yours. Nighthawk Black Pearl. IMO, it's the coolest, most beautiful black color out there. It was also a royal pain in the #%$ to maintain.
When I had the car, I only had the PC. Here are the steps I took to get the car looking best:

1. Wash & clay
2. Menzerna Intensive Polish with white LC pad.
I never had to resort to the orange pad because the paint was soft and the swirls were never that bad.
3. Menzerna Final Polish II with white LC pad.
4. LSP. Everyone has their favorites. Mine was and still is Menzerna FMJ.

Results of my labor. I'm sure you'll find the color familiar.:welcome:

I have since moved on to the Flex and I "discovered" Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA and PO85RD, but I still use the above mentioned stuff because they're still effective.

best advice yet imo. i would throw Clearkote rmg on it before souveran for additional looks. great combo!
