Best recommended clea-rinsing car wash? (leave nothing behind)

Not really a “soap” user here, but besides HyperWash, I usually see Optimum’s Car Wash recommend for a good soap. Price looks decent.

I use Rupes M101 Shampoo every once in a while and it is nice, but it’s pricey.

CarPro Reset is my favorite. Tons of suds with a foam lance. Optimum Car Wash runs a close second.

I was going to say Optimum car wash since I use it on coated and sealants but did a quick search.

Either way I think it is a great soap. I use Reset once in awhile just not very often.

Per Optimum Car Wash's MSDS:
It is a Surfactant Blend in Water;
w/no Hazardous Ingredients.

However, as to:
RE: Optimum Car Wash leave anything behind?

Here's a quote from a previous
Q&A with Dr. G:

"The polymers in Optimum Car Wash will
have a cumulative effect with continued use,
like No Rinse. As you use it over time it will
add and maintain gloss. It does not have quite
the level that No Rinse does...but it is in there".

Add car brite select soap to the list. Red. Used first time this morning. Impressive.

For you guys suggestion reset.... I know it is fine for coated cars but is it ok for typical wax/sealant as a daily type wash or will it strip the wax/sealant? I always thought it was to harsh for a daily wash on uncoated vehicles hence the name "intensive shampoo"

I think that any car soap used daily is going to be impact on your LSP whatever it is. It's cause of the aggitations it's going to be degraded faster. As for reset I have not been seeing any degrading if you dilute it properly. Then I use mostly chemical resistant lsp. Some have used reset at the 1:1000 with good luck. So test what dilution that suits you from 1:500 to 1:1000. I go after the the feeling of the lubrication I get. And I would not use reset daily as it's not need to be doing that. But weekly washing I will use it on.

You took the word daily way to literal there. Perhaps I should have said maintenance. Anyway looking for a factual answer at the manufacturers suggested dilution. Of course any shampoo will not severely degrade a lsp if you start diluting it more than the manufacturer suggest but in most cases the set dilutions on the instructions are there for a reason. My bottle of reset says 1:500.
