Thanks. My camera is not the best and it was sort of dark outside when I took the shots. The pictures really don't do the shine or the car justice. I do not know how the 111 sealant will perform in terms of durability since this is my first use of this particular product, although I have used other Duragloss products for years.
I had a silver Honda Ridgeline for over seven years and always used either Klasse or Duragloss for each detail (which was about every four months). The Duragloss sealant I used was their 105 and it certainly held up for the entire period - so did the Klasse AIO and Sealant Glaze. I have used both the 105 and 111 with the bonding agent 601, which they say increases durability. However, since I apply sealants so often (and my cars are true garage queens!), durability is not a major concern of mine. I think any good sealant will protect easily for three or four months, especially if you top with AquaWax or other similar products after every wash.
Duragloss claims their 105 is good for up to a year but no one here has the fortitude to wait a year between working on their car, least of all me!! Although I had good luck on my silver truck with the 105, I wanted to try 111 on my Mercedes because it is a pure sealant and said to be even better on white vehicles with new and perfect paint which needs no correction. I believe Duragloss says the 111 should be durable for at least six months so although it may not be as durable as 105 it is really a non factor for me because of the frequency of my details. Someday I will do half the Mercedes with 111 and half with 105 and see if there is a difference.
I think you should try Duragloss as they have a complete car care product line and their reputation is tops. Good value too especially when compared to the high priced "boutique" brands. They are also very responsive to questions you may have via email. Although I itch to experiment with other stuff, I seem to always go with Duragloss. When I stand back and look at the car after the job is complete I know I made the right decision.
