Ok i have a 750li bmw i have to detail and the client wants all of the swirls out. no big deal. i have swirl removers. alot of them. what do you use? i dont know what i want to use on a bmw clear coat. im sure they are pretty hard.

there is no such thing as a best swirl remover, ask anyone in the forum, they test out a spot for the best combo for both polish and pads that is why we have test spots, but for a BMW i think most likely either all Menzerna products since they are made for German finishes, or the MEG twins...

A perfect pair of polishes.

The Wolfgang 8 oz. Swirl Remover Combo creates a swirl-free finish on all types of paint, including today's scratch-resistant clear coats. Made with nano diminishing abrasives, Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 and Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 level imperfections without creating new ones. You'll see smooth, flawless paint in fewer steps. Pair the Wolfgang 8 oz. Swirl Remover Combo with an orbital polisher to maximize their benefits.

It has Menzerna in it, for hard ceramic clear coats......

It might be helpful if you list the swirl removers you have. This would really help narrow down the recommendations so you can get started.

What machine do you have?
What pads are at your disposal?

I always grab for Menzerna first .... ceramiclear polishes are my friend !

It's not Jett Black is it? I haven't experienced any overly hard clear coats on any of the Bimmers that I have worked on. Jett Black having softer clear than most cars I have worked on. I definitely recommend starting from least aggressive pad/polish combo on a test section to answer your own question.

I have used Ultra polish (clone) which have safely removed swirl marks from clear coat finishes. I have also heard about HD UNO which removes fine scratches from all clearcoat paint finishes.

ok so now this guy is trading in his bmw and buying a bentley. i have a few weeks before i do it. i can experiment with what i have on some other cars first. i just ordered menzerna SIP and power gloss. im curious to see how those work.
