Need some advice. I don't want a super wet look and would love if it lasted more than a week. And go.....

I just started using Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus and have found that it leaves a nice satin finish and so far has held up nicely over the past 30 days with just one application.

Armor All Extreme Shine is the BOMB!

Long lasting, great shine and NO sling!

Lucas Oil Slick Mist....if you can find it. My tires are still shiny and I washed my truck a week and a half ago. No sling. And it's water based so it won't harm anything. Work great on trim, tonnoe covers. Good stuff.

Blackfire Total Eclipse Tire Gel

I tried this not too long ago and was very impressed with its shine and durability....

I've been using surf city garage's beyond black, get it at local walmart it doesn't sling. one layer is a satin look, add additional layers for more shine it lasts through several rains.easy to apply dries quickly.

Chemical Guys VRP. Medium gloss with good durability with a second coat.

Optimums Opti-bond or the Blackfire Tire Gel

Well if all these different recommendations just aren't enough, let me add some more. Poor Boys Bold N Bright. That's just what it is also. Or, there is that other "permanent" tire cleat coat that last for months...

Meguiars Hyper Dressing, 1:1 will give you really high gloss. I typically use 2 coats diluted at 3:1 and it lasts a long time. It comes in 128 oz. and is pretty cost effective when diluted.

Biggest thing with any tire shine is to make sure tire is clean before applying, that really can affect longevity.

opti-bond, duragloss 253, carpro perl and Meg Hyper dressing. The pricing is pretty cheap on these too.

I just detailed my car today and used 303 on the tires. It looks great so far. Not too shiny, almost like a blacker new tire if that makes any sense. Don't know about durability yet.

Just applied two coats of Gtechniq's Tyre and Trim on the tires (tyres) this morning. So far, me thinks just one coat would have been enough. But will wait till I get some weather and miles on them before I pass judgement on this product.

With the two coats, they do shine. :xyxthumbs:

I forgot to mention i run Goodyear Duratrac Mud Tires. The sidewalls are difficult to get into with my applicator. Im thinking of trying Optibond any luck with this and mudtires ?

Hyper dressing is awesome. I use it in my shop. But, there are definitely better dressings out there if you are solely looking for quality. You'll definitely get more than a week out of hyper dressing but it won't stand a chance against rain or washing.

Opti-bond has been my favorite for a long time but BlackFire Total Eclipse Gel has taken a quick second maybe even tie for first! I like the initial look of BlackFire better then Opti-bond. But after a couple days of driving (with and without rain) I like the look of Opti-bond better :)

After using BF total eclipse tire gel, I can honestly say that to date, its the best I've ever used! Last a looong time and I only swipe the tires every other day with what's left on the applicator to "even things up", great product:props:

Upon initial application, I cleaned the tire pretty well and applied one coat one day, then a couple days later, I applied another coat and it seems to get into the rubber and stays there. The finish a nice, natural matte black, the way tires should look, IMO!

I get a medium-medium high gloss. More gloss then I get from Opti-bond
