Best Waterless Wash?

If a sealant is my LSP I use UWW. If my LSP is a wax I use PWW. Just what I do but I'm weird.

I assume the thinking is carnauaba needs a little carnauba. I had a similar thought that carnaubas could use a different booster (detail spray).

Exactly Al.

Who knows if it does anything different it just gradually starting to make sense to do.

For me UWW+ in a 2 gallon Garden Sprayer is the bomb! I always spray this very liberally before any type of wash,. I use it stand-alone occasionally. I am surprised no one has mentioned Opti-Clean or DP.

:iagree:

I do this myself and don't know how I ever got by without a sprayer! What sprayer are you using?

I use Ultima Waterless Wash too but Pinnacle Waterless Wash with Carnauba looks pretty good too. The recent review (I think by Nick) shows that it has power and a nice finish too. I think other members have experienced the same thing. Let's put it this way: if I were to use something other than Ultima, it would be Pinnacle's WW.

I used to use UWW+ and loved it, but switched to Pinnacle waterless wash with carnauba and haven't looked back. It is equally as easy to work with as UWW+ but leaves better slickness and gloss.

Maybe I shouldn't automatically shy away from the WWs with Carnuba in them just because of the streaking issues I've had with Ecosmart. I may just get a bottle of each concentrate (Pinnacle & Ultima) and see which one I like better. I'm sure they are both good enough that I will use both of them up, then I can just re-purchase the one I like better when its time to get more.

Thanks guys!

I've been using Pinnacle waterless wash with carnauba for a few months now every few days just to keep the parking garage dust off the DD. I love it's power, lubricity and finish. While a little goes a long way, I have problem spraying it on a little heavy if I'm worried about any film or deposits. No streaking for me whatsoever and the smell is pretty nice too!

I am also looking for a GOOD pressurized sprayer as well... don't want to pay the $35 Kwazar price, but want something with Viton seals that will last, thanks :)

PS: I may start a new thread, I don't like doing that a lot, but don't want to derail this thread away from Waterless Washes...

I get all my pump sprayers from Home Depot gardening area. Decent prices and I've never had any break in the 2-3 years I've owned them. I got a 64oz hand pump sprayer and a bigger one like Old Tiger mentioned. :)

Has anyone pre-soaked their car with UWW+ in a spray bottle and then did a rinseless wash with ONR? I just got a 16 OZ bottle of UWW+ but have a full gallon of ONR left.

I use a Solo 418 One Liter Handheld Pressurized Sprayer. Got it from the river for less than $20. I like it so much that I bought two more!

Here's a pic:

I've done that maybe 100-200 times

So, do you rinse the presoak with water or do you wipe it off with microfiber, or both? Or neither.

I've tried GG, UWW+, DP, Pinnacle and ONR as a waterless wash. Personally, I like UWW+ the best.

My method of application: spray gun. Really cuts the time down.

I think they're asking with the UWW do you spray and wipe it or wash it off or do you spray then go right over the UWW with ONR then dry all of it off at once.

Ahhh! Thanks. Just spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two then get out my towel from my onr bucket and wipe the panel then dry! I think that's the standard or at least how I learned here!
