best wax combo for bright Silver cars?

GOOD MORNING, Just wanted to join a website forum to show everyone that I have a great addiction in detailing cars, too. And I got a question id like to ask to those of you who have detailed a silver vehicles well. I used glaze then pure carnauba and it didn't shine as my honda S2000 black color, using same combo. Are there any wax just built for bright silver? Tank you
 
Well, silver by nature is a more "reflective and shiny" color and will never give you the warm deep gloss that your black S2000 does. With that said, I would use a sealant instead of a wax or at least as your base, topped with wax. Sealants produce more reflective and shiny results than do carnuaba waxes. IMO i would add to the shininess that the silver already has and apply a sealant topped with a wax. I think in doing so you will see the best that the silver has to offer.

Silver is great for hiding imperfections but the reward for hours of hard work is usually underwhelming. Its strength is also its weakness.
 
I agree. Use a sealant and then top it with something like Nattys Red or Pinnacle Sig. Series II
 
I've had great results with Pinnacle SS II and FK 1000P.
 
On silver I would definitely give Finish Kare 1000p a try. It gives a special look on light-colored cars, though it often takes 24-48 hours for that look to appear. It is often described as adding an additional layer of clearcoat.
