I am still seeing protection on a cars I applied Power Lock to in October, before a Chicago winter. Almost 8 months real world use.
 
I've been a Nu Finish guy for years. I love how it beads, shines and comes off with just the weight of my arm when wiping it off.

I think it is one of the few products I've been able to apply in direct sunlight without streaks or smears.

The paste version is really strong.
 
I'm a fan of Cilajet's auto sealant/paint protection. It can only be applied through your local dealership and it comes with a 10 year warranty. It's aviation grade and is approved by Boeing. My car has a mirror like finish and I don't even have to wash it ~ I just use a microfiber cloth and all dirt comes right off. Also, the product is made in America.

Too funny.

I took most of my products out of the Garage this week...it's smoking hot in Southern Missouri and easily over 100F in there now.
Currently in the market for a small fridge to hold waxes/sealants/ compounds/polishes. Until such time, they sleep with me!! :)

Haha. I had to move a whole bunch of stuff in from no A/C storage. 115* heat index today in KC.

why?

-it is easy to apply, (using the damp MF applicator and small 1 ounce atomizing spray bottle) wipe on/wipe off

-I can add a bit of it to a gallon of whatever QD I use as a drying aid and boost protection whenever I wash

-it is extremely durable considering how easy it is to apply and how little is needed

-I bought a 33 ounce jug of it when I bought my jeep in 2009 and I am nowhere near out of it

I know people have a hard time applying it thin but the small spray bottle method has gave me zero problems.

My vote for Soft99 Fusso black/white sealant in winter time and for summer Soft99 Authentic Premium carnauba wax. Here is my car with authentic wax on top Fusso Coat.

"Best".... really.... now that's a loaded question if there ever was one.:buffing:

Honestly, I'd not even CONSIDER a pure wax for anything but a show car or garage queen. Working with a sealant, or a hybrid will give you a better, MUCH better overall experience.

Best that you can get at your local auto parts store.
That'd be something like:
Meguiar's M21 2.0
Meguiar's Ultimate Wax (liquid or paste doesn't matter)
Meguiar's #26 Yellow Wax (yes it's a sealant WITH carnauba in it so it's a FANTASTIC hybrid). In fact... it has one of the best DOI ratings of anything out there, period.

And if you can find it locally, pretty much anything Collinite.

Menzerna Power Lock (I prefer DGPS 3.0)
Collinite 845, 476 or 915

Then there's Duragloss. Their nomenclature is so out there that you'll have to go to the forums to understand what works with what, as what. But their product(s) even though they are not "boutique" by ANY MEANS are time proven to work. There you could try 101 (as a cleaner polish that also works GREAT on a ppf), 105, 111 and of course 601 as a pre-bonding agent with 105 or 111.
 
What is the cure time for menzerna power lock, I love Wolfgang but I can't do the 12 cure time on my truck

They're all about the same. (WOWO that is.) The real time investment is in application, waiting to haze, then removal.

They will ALL continue to cure for 24 (or more) hours!

Now if you want a true, WOWA experience then there are several options that'll fit that scenario. :)
Spritz on... wipe off... bada bing - bada boom. :D

I prefer the WOWA stuff for jambs, then after the WOWO stuff was applied (as in later when doing washes/maintaining). Never had a problem layering, just makes maintenance washing easier. Of course the ultimate ease of application is a good ol' spray wax/sealant. Bring on Aquawax or ULW and call it a day. :laughing:

I agree, notice the dust that would settle on the car but the minute I drive it the dust is gone. I use the WG Spritz over their 3.0 sealant. The long lasting results are amazing. My caranuba cleaner waxes do a very good job as well but they do not seem to last in this hot summer sun.
