Best way to apply wax/sealant?

So the mister Miagi wax on...wax off method is not all it is cracked up to be. :)

I think mr Miagi would cane you if you did not do the circle method, he was very adamant about that. ;)

The best Mr Miagi method would be paint the house - left to right
 
So the verdict is Front to back on the hood, top and trunk and then up and down on the sides to apply wax or sealant by hand. For polish or to remove swirls its ok to use a orbital buffer or a machine
 
I tend to use the German applicators there double sided depending on the job and also easier to hold

This is exactly what I was thinking! Surely he can't be wrong!

YES, The verdict for use of buffer is YES as you state, The verdict for waxing is UP and DOWN is NO.........YES, for front to back all over....;)

Not sure of the up n down.....:o i beleive now it's front to rear all around including sides.....
